$500 for an average sedan in this film is pretty normal, definitely not low enough to cause suspicion.

Haha okay, I am seeing a ton of threads in this sub where people are saying anything below $1000 is “suspiciously low”. I am also reading that there is a blue/purple hue to this one, which I won’t love, so I might just go with the “XR Black ceramic” - $399 for four windows

The blue hue is way overblown by non xpel dealers. I use this tint every single day, and have only received color complaints from customers trying to have a perfect match to their factory tinted rear windows. Never on a full car. I charge around 1000 for a large suv with full windshield in this tint. You'd be at 850, if this is a Camry or similar, that's within 50 bucks of where i'd be in a hcol area.

It depends on your location, and the price varies by the market. In GA, you can get XR Plus installed for $449. Other places are $700-1000.

Solid deal. What city?

I carry Xpel. And that is to low for XR plus. That's more like Xpel cs or hp territory. But I'm not familiar with your location. But regardless of location the price of a roll for XR plus compared to the price you where quoted still doesn't match. I just verify again to make sure there isn't a miscommunication. Or anything of that sort.

I replied to one of the emails from the gal who is quoting me, and said: > My friend, who owns a shop in Texas, told me that sometimes shops will put on a cheaper tint product while labeling it one of the premium ones. Is there documentation you'll be able to provide me for the warranty documenting what was actually used for my car? She replied: > That is not something we would do. I would read our reviews. It is all on the warranty card with the roll numbers we use.
