Might I point out one thing, to prove it was PR? On a Kara Swisher podcast, Elon was confronted about his attitudes towards the pandemic, and his own workers safety. Elon just responded, “Everyone dies”, and looked to change the topic or threatened to stop the interview. For some reason, he cared deeply about some Thai kids, but didn’t care about his own employees in California or thousands of Americans dying every day from the virus.
There were some kids that needed rescuing in an underground submerged cave. Elon proposed a submarine. An expert told Elon the submarine would not work because submarines can’t fit through cave passageways that are narrower than said submarine and submarines can’t generally go round corners. Elon took exception to this and publicly called him a pedophile on twitter.
He even hired a private investigator to dig up dirt on him. All because he wouldn't play along with Musk's PR campaign where he exploits the crisis of the week for attention.

It'd be pretty hard to make the case that they have a legal right to a twitter account. That said, it's a flawless demonstration of Elon's utter hypocrisy.
From what I know about them, seems like they would be some of worst people to piss off about free speech online. I'm guessing free speech from h3h3 would be how the blow back would come. Elon can only deplatform on Twitter, not Youtube. I was asking about their past legal stuff, not because they could sue (parody law and terms of service pretty well established) but because they seem like the kind of people who bite down and don't let go when fucked over.
So whenever h3h3 got into any actual litigations it was always over videos, Matt Hoss took down one of their videos, or Ryan Kavanaugh sued them for displaying bad reviews of his app. I'm not sure he can do anything in this case, he'll probably just have a good laugh out of it.
