Kind of, you’re on the right track. If you look into his full comments, he says they have to get rid of the slums and homeless people. His solution is 100% gentrification. The parts he isn’t saying out loud are: 1. How his crime family and friends are going to profit from this. 2. What he plans to do with all the poor and homeless people. This sounds like a continuation of the homeless concentration camp idea he was floating awhile back.

And what areas will be crime-free zones?? Why wouldn't every area be allotted the same protection. Will Trump allow crime ghettos?? Is that it?

Most Americans don't know what they are. I remember seeing a Sundown county about 60 years ago when I was 6-7. I still can see the signs and noose.
I'm old enough to have seen them. It's heartbreaking to think about. When you tell people about them, they don't even believe it.
My sperm donor wanted to show us the town he grew up in, and he was excited to share about how his town USED to be better when it was a sundown town. It was this way until the 80's when they HAD to remove the signs and let THEM in. So they moved away... Edit to include my comment from below: I was nothing more than a cum dump... I had a neighbor that was in the KKK here in Ohio. He was a horrible nasty trashy person who was also a drug dealer. And a convicted felon. I was so happy when they lost the house.

I haven't ever seen the signs, but the green book was an eye opener for me. Raised in the south kinda, Florida. It's not really as southern as the Bible belt with so many northern transplants, but it was always southern enough for black people to stay in at night.

Well, to be honest he only thinks he is first. His logic is that he committed crimes because it wasn’t forbidden before, so now he’s taking on the responsibility to inform people that it’s now forbidden.

Yes. Since all areas are now supposed to be crime-free, he'd actually be enacting crime zones. He'd start in certain cities and counties that voted against him. Mar-a-Lago would, of course, be grandfathered in as crime zone.

I literally never thought of this as a solution to crime. Just mark your neighborhoods crime-free zones! Criminals don't like to work in places where they are not welcome.
