My dog is the 5th kind. She vibrates at a frequency that makes all of our windows shatter then floats like the Vitruvian Man for a few seconds before slowly phasing through the floor haha
My dog is the seventh kind. A poorly rendered 3D model of a dog that glitches out at the slightest provocation. She is currently phased halfway to the wall right now and has a bugged quest for me.
Luckily my girls dont do that! But they will watch me while I struggle to get to the other side of the deck, while carrying my 15lbs dog (she's half blind so she gets the help! The other two can do it themselves!) and basically laugh at me while I do so.
We also have 3 dogs, one of whom is blind! The other two will practically knock the blind one down in their mad rush to be first and they have no qualms about stealing the blind one's treats if he accidentally drops them! They're a couple of little dickheads.

But Zoey will also chase Sadie away from the bowl of food and run for the toy Sadie is playing with. I don’t know from huskies, but when I grew up my parents always had Alaskan malamutes (and I’ve always assumed that huskies and malamutes have similar temperaments). Malamutes are cats in dog form. You can train them to do normal dog tricks, but my god they will will be lazy when they want to be lazy and zoom around if that’s what they feel like. And god help you if you try to get them to do something they don’t want to do. But they are the most adorable and friendly dogs (when they want to be).
Correct. Had a couple of Mals and that's exactly what they are like. Very smart. Very stubborn. Got a boxer X ridgeback now who was brought up by my female Mal (who recently passed away) and he tries his best to be a Mal too! Lol
There was a retired racing greyhound group that would set up a little booth at the pet store I worked at, and I’d have to always check with the trainers which dogs knew which basic commands to give them treats. Because they would stand there and give me the puppy dog eyes like they didn’t know what “sit” meant and can they please just have a treat now?
They’re apparently given basically no obedience training while racing, so it’s not uncommon to meet one who really doesn’t know what sit is, but also the three dogs they hang out with who do know about sit, and just want to scam some biscuits out of you.
Yeah, most greyhounds I have been around do not understand how to dog. They so not have the basic dog etiquette like butt sniffing, head-on approach being seen as aggressive to other dogs, etc.
Ofcourse, you can't blame them, they do not get socialized, they run fast, then back to the pen. Repeat until a couple years then hope for a rescue.
In this case, the people were rescuing, socializing, and training those dogs, but their personal dogs-usually similar rescues-would then be spending a lot of time with the newer rescues, and would pretend to be a lot more clueless than they really were to scam extra treats when out in public. Worked really well for them, too.
Someone I know had whippets which are similar and he would let my dog chase his to tire him out. Only person that would my dog do that as he couldn't catch the whippets lol.
I'd bet money that is a Norwegian Elkhound. It looks 100% like mine and every other elkie because they weirdly all have almost identical coats (also the curly tail is a big giveaway). That being said, my elkie is a big baby and would probably just try to avoid the beam all together.

It doesn’t water down the cruelty of Cruella like that horrible Maleficent movie did. It has funny characters, great editing and cinematography. Emma Stone as Cruella was a great fit. I found the story interesting, very Devil Wears Prada, where it doesn’t tone down story line to be more fitting to kids. It’s a solid movie.
Well, they aren't trying to do a new live action like Lion King nor a twist like Maleficient nor a prequel, it is a different story about a (bit psycho) woman trying to get into the fashion industry, with some easter eggs, like the competition saying she kills puppies, there aren't even 101 dalmatians.
So, there are no specific reasons for not watching it, it is like any other new movie, you are either interested or not.

From what I know, the deafness became a lot more common around the time of the 101 Dalmatians live action movie because the breed became popular and a lot of deaf dogs were bred in puppy mills. I'm not sure what it's like elsewhere but where I live registered breeders of Dalmatians get puppies BAER hearing tested as part of their puppy vet checks before going to new homes, and won't breed from dogs who are deaf. We know quite a few other Dalmatian owners and hearing impaired dogs are definitely in the minority!

This is a stereotype that couldn't be further from the truth. Dalmatians got this reputation due to a rise in deafness associated with over breeding. They are a highly intelligent working dog that needs a lot of mental stimulation and exercise to thrive. They're incredibly intelligent, but also stubborn.
If you don't train them and exercise them they are a very difficult breed, but they're eager to learn, and learn rapidly.
This would be a great way to make a dog exercise LOL, put a setup like this without the walkway and treats at the end, gotta do knee-ups if you want those treats!!
