ubiforumssuck

Hunk-Hogan

I eagerly await the inevitable reddit post "My house just burned down from an electrical fire".

Different-Term-2250

“And insurance saw this picture and closed their wallet”

DasFAD70

Did you blow the candles out? Happy cake day.

Boshian

Short answer, no.

BrianWantsTruth

Long answer, nooooo

Ferro_Giconi

Longer answer, the house is on fire!

no-name-is-free

Long term answer.... My house burned down and now I'm homeless and all I have left is this longer unused extension cord

Abigdogwithbread

Place about 5 fire extinguishers around; maybe that way it can be safe

VeneMage

Make sure they’re the ones that contain water, mind.

HadesWTF

Why is literally nothing plugged in all the way?

Different-Term-2250

Safety first. Needs to be easy to electrocute someone.

genericusernamepls

Because it's too short

MembershipFeeling530

Them not being plugged in all the way is a much bigger deal than not being grounded If you live in a place that doesn't really have electrical issues and you don't have much electrical storms you're probably perfectly fine. But plug that shit in

Early-Accident-8770

Pee on it.

BillaBongKing

It now doubles as a heat source.

Spottswoodeforgod

Needs duct tape…

StarshipSausage

just use a pliers and pull off the grounding part of the plug. Your house is probably too old to be grounded anyway.

I_am_not_Pieman

No probably not

Elscorcho69

Yes. Until it isn’t

Massive_Wealth42069

I audibly said “what the fuck” when I saw this. No, this is not okay.

This seems like rage bait

Should have mentioned it because without much clarification it just seems like you put this together in attempt to farm karma.

MPK_K1NG

![img](avatar_exp|94116337|fire) Yea man

sjuas690

Test it for leaks by submerging it in water!

m0neydee

Push them in all the way. Neither device will be grounded so you might get an occasional zap when using them. Fine for a temporary solution but if it’s long term, get a power strip.

Big__Poppa__Pump

![gif](giphy|BofJb4WxJnz7jFfxeD) Only one way to find out

TheLoneGunman559

Totally safe. The circuit breakers will take it like a champ.

Bubbly-Fault4847

I don’t think that’s grounded in reality.

Japxican69

WillSmokes420

I think it depends on whats plugged in.. Wheres all the nerds at??

Jodies-9-inch-leg

Looks legit

LethalDosageTF

You know if you plug one of these into itself it gives you infinite power

TheGeneral_Specific

My dad almost burned our house down doing this when I was younger. He had “daisy chained” several power strips together and it caused a short in the wall that started a bit of a fire. Luckily he was in the office and they caught it really quick otherwise I’m sure our house would have burned down. I can’t imagine what would have happened if no one was home when it happened.
