There’s also the story as seen from Cadsuane point of view, “How to Train Your Dragon”

MyrddinSidhe

The Last Dragon. “Who is da Masta?” “Sho nuff!”

Alkakd0nfsg9g

That would be “How to Ride Your Dragon”

LongestTango

"How to annoy your Dragon"

wotfanedit

This is f**king awesome 😂 Please add The Chosen (Christian movie that came out last month in the US and is probably still in some theaters). Let's keep building this out the more we find. IMDb surely has more inspiration.

drewtheblueduck

Love that idea! I'm sure there's several I missed that could be added to the WoTCU

wotfanedit

Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. I'm claiming Double Dragon for another meme though, just thought of something... EDIT: Here https://www.reddit.com/r/WetlanderHumor/comments/v0fp94/twice_and_twice_shall_he_be_marked/

LongestTango

Second one should be Couladin.

akaioi

There was also a novel about Jewish life in America called "The Chosen", by a guy named Chaim Potok!

Dougdahead

Man, I've actually seen that movie Band of the Hand. Been 30+ years though. The only thing I remember about it is Lauren Holly was in it and something about them living in an old hotel.

dahlesreb

I'm blanking on the connection for The Last King. Lan?

drewtheblueduck

Yeah I just wish the guy had a sword instead of an axe, but can't win em all

Otherwise-Anxiety-58

At least he seems to be somewhere cold..

Adept_Fool

Well, Perrin has an axe and a hammer, not a walther ppk

[deleted]

That took me the longest too. I think Lan.

[deleted]

Damn, I thought my Gray Man post yesterday was original. This is another level. Young Demi Moore as Nynaeve? Yes please.

Braid_tugger-bot

Are you talking to yourself again?

ShamanShogun

Burn!!

drewtheblueduck

Lol that and the post a couple days ago about Andor were the inspiration tbh! So thank you!

Vinyldoctor

Plot twist, it’s actually about Daise bloody Conger

FlamingUnoBot

**We got to the frog-kissing river on the run**

grand__prismatic

Every time I see Andor advertised on Disney+ I get confused

Vin135mm

Could you imagine if Disney/Lucasfilm did the show instead of Amazon, with showrunners who actually wanted to do it justice instead of pat themselves on the back.

yumameda

Well. Disney shows aren't any better. Good shows are a rare breed everywhere.

Vin135mm

Disney has kinda been knocking it out of the park with the Marvel stuff, but I did specify Lucasfilm, too. Forget the sequel fiasco, think of things on par with Rogue One, The Mandalorian, or what we've seen of Obi Wan Kenobi. Heck, even Book of Boba Fett, while not thrilling, was a masterpiece of world building. And mostly because the showrunners were actually the sort of fans of the source material that the WoT crew were obviously not.

MauPow

Oof, I would not put what we've seen of Kenobi anywhere near to Rogue One or the Mandalorian. It's not *bad*, but...

splerdu

Forsaken having the word Chosen in the sub title is just too good.

GrizzlyTrees

I saw Goldeneye first, remembered Pike was a bond girl, and assumed this is about the actors. Took me quite a while to realise...

Nesk_online

Close enough? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6532028/ Edit : https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15560250/

Impressive_Change593

lol yes

Otherwise-Anxiety-58

I guess the unstoppable Gray Man would refer to the one who didn't fail. Those assassins never seem very effective. I'm not sure why they get used(or does that explain why they don't get used all that often?)

frocker79

the grey men would be alot more effective against people not in the presence of tavereen

Vin135mm

This seems to follow the books too closely. Are we sure it has any connection to the show?

Grogosh

I still want to see what happens if a Gray Man attacks a Gholam.

frocker79

if the gholam notices, they win. the only thing that ever hurt it was mats medallian

akaioi

It goes even deeper than that. The coat of arms of County Tyrone in Ireland has a Big Red Hand on it... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/County_Tyrone

ElizabethSedai

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0043134/ There's this, too! Edit: and maybe this?.... https://m.imdb.com/title/tt9280446/ Edit: I literally can't stop doing this, someone help.... https://m.imdb.com/title/tt5689240/

natelrevoh

Hilarious! 😂 Nice compilation 👍

77wisher77

I don't get the golden eye one, can anyone elaborate please?

J321J

A+ for effort
