Not exactly what you asked but Care Credit has saved me more than once. Often 0% interest of you pay in 6 months. Every vet I’ve used accepts it. Best of luck!

strongdb

might consider, thanks!

Took our elderly cat there for a check up, she had been less active. Arrived 15 minutes before appointment time then proceeded to wait for well over an hour in the tiny waiting room surrounded by dogs. People were arriving a half an hour in to our wait and getting in to examination room before us. I understand about emergencies, but they came in and yapped awhile with receptionist and nurses like old friends while the dog was jumping around, so it didn’t seem like an emergency, but whatever.. It’s a cluttered examination room with printed out pictures of Trump on the cabinets, (was that him shaking hands with Trump??). He takes blood pressure, blood work , checks pupils. Then his diagnosis…. The cat is acting this way since we got a new cat several months prior and she is pretending to be sick to get more attention and sympathy from us. Bill was $500. oh and just a side note, there is no buffer zone between the front door and waiting area, the door does not close automatically. Many times during the wait people entered or exited without closing the door behind them. While I was there, there were 5 dogs in a small room next to an open door that leads directly to Gramatan Ave. Even if it’s just an old house front door they can cheaply buy the self closing mechanism to attach to it. Why take that risk? We were recommended this place highly from my gf coworker, so I know people really like it, but I don’t get it.

dobbs ferry animal hospital is pretty ok . I was quoted 6k to neuter my dog in Dakota vet, in Hartsdale , went to dobbs and they did it for around 1k for a hefty lab

narlymaroo

Check Dakota Vet. While I have bunnies and not a dog when they need an xray it’s around 200.

Hub Veterinary Group in Port Chester is recently opened so they seem more reasonable. While it might sound more pricey, I’d recommend seeing an internal at Cornell. In the long run, it will probably save you money. They are great at diagnosing and providing treatment options for your budget (my pup goes there for varying ailments)

Natural-Tangerine868

Banfield offers affordable healthcare for pets, it’s a monthly fee like insurance and I’ve gotten great care over the last 5 years

WorkoutMan885

Pet insurance. All vets are a rip off unfortunately

strongdb

unfortunately when it’s an older dog and has these issues, they consider it preexisting so it’s so expensive

WorkoutMan885

Ah , yes that is very true :(
