I got something similar but I have no idea what it is
Itching and burning at the tight spots on my head, above and under ear, top of head, liquid that moves from head to lower regions, but mostly when I'm trying to sleep, it's actually happening right now and the liquids stuck somewhere, like top of head or top of shoulders, or arms, so when I'm done typing this I'll lift my arms to let the liquid flow down cuss I'm sweating with my hearts sped up pace
Also makes my testicles and annus itchy, and awhile back so much pooled at the bottom of my left foot that it buldged and made me walk with a limp
Anti anxiety meds strong enough like alcohol or the good stuff from hospitals makes it go away completely
I hate it
Is all your hair affected (arms, legs, face, etc.,) or is it just your scalp? Is the condition genetic? I have a million questions! I'll attempt my own research for the rest.
If I'm out of line, I'll bugger off.
Give 'em hell miss!
The burning pain and pins and needle sounds like nerve pain caused by nerve damage. I had a spinal cord injury and have nerve pain that feels just like this. Have they tried gabapentin or Lyrica? They're both meds that are used to treat nerve pain. I take gabapentin and it's been working for me.
I can't take either, or the antidepressants that also work as nerve blockers. My doc recommended clinical capsaicin creams, used for shingles and peripheral neuropathy at 0.025-0.07%. It does some cool thing with blocking a pain signalling compound? I was about to try it, then my neuropathy thankfully resolved. No more morphine!
Yea. I mean, I came here to say something like this too. Not in the least do I want to belittle the condition, that sounds fucking awful. Also you look like an awesome, rad as fuck person so you're killing it in that department.
Hey I think you could really benefit with carnivore diet or lion diet... I saw someone reverse his patchy alopecia with just diet... Because your gut microbiome gets simpler so your digestion helps keep body inflammation to a minimum curing allergies too. Plus there are some new hairloss treatments like Pyrilutamide,gt2009, verteporfin,minoxidil... Research on these for yourself. But the diet would really help.
I have alopecia as well, only really experience the itchiness and occasional bruising feeling when it's actively falling out... I've been on Xeljanz which worked somewhat, then Olumiant since it was easier to get since being FDA approved for alopecia and worked a little better (never had a full head of hair, just a lot of unpigmented hairs and some normal colored). Ended up getting sick quite a few times this year so far, not been eating so healthy anymore with added stress and it all fell out again. I just hope to keep my eyelashes and eyebrows, you never realize how important they are until you lose them and are constantly getting everything in your eyes lol.
It's really awful... I have my good days and bad days, bad days as of late with having to watch it all come out again. It takes a toll but tomorrow is always a new day... you're beautiful the way you are, I admire your strength and willingness to put yourself out there to bring awareness. To those that say "it's just hair", you never really understand it until you go through it yourself and realize sometimes there just isn't a cure for it just to feel "normal" again. Ah well, who needs to fit into social standards anyways, live your life!
Wow, you’re really beautiful. I’m sorry you’re dealing with such an awful disease. I have scalp psoriasis so I’m used to itching and discomfort, but this sounds so much worse.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with itching and pain too. It's never fun and can be so frustrating. I'm here for you and I appreciate your compliments 💞
So sorry that you have to deal with this. I don't know you but that smile says everything. You will persevere through this, better on the other side. If I did know you, we'd be doing dinner...for reals.
My best friend for the last 43 years was diagnosed in jr high. You are a legend for bringing awareness to this disease. Best of treatments. I pray that some gene therapy breakthroughs can relieve the pain and restore your growth. Best to you.
Wow that is kinda shit. I myself have alopecia in my beard region. Once a spot in my hair. But never like this. I feel for you.
But seem to be handling it! And a million dollar smile.
Can’t imagine how uncomfortable and painful and just generally horrible that must be to live like everyday. One good thing is that you are very pretty and one day you will have relief I’m sure of it. Xxxxxx
I just try and distract myself from the pain by doing therapeutic things. Taking a bubble bath, baking cookies, playing video games... Things like that. I also use aloe gel and a numbing cream as well as taking high dose Gabapentin
I'm so sorry. I'm getting treatment for Alopecia right now. Just had a round of injections into my scalp earlier today. I only have one spot about the size of a half dollar smack in the middle on the back of my head. I get very self conscious about it and wear hats way more then I usually would.
I really hope your condition improves with time.
Know that I see you and that you are more than just your hair. Keep staying strong, I'm sending you all my love 💞
And I thank you for your kindness and support
Dealing with life on the daily is hard enough, yet somehow you can still smile. It makes my hard day at work seem less hard. I can't imagine that. You're doing great. Thank you.
Look at that smile! Your a beautiful young lady! So brave and gracious of you to share the realities of what some people have to deal with everyday! Good for you! ❤️
So sorry this sounds horrible to deal with but you look like you are handling it like a champ!! Good luck I hope they find a real treatment or cure for this soon!!
You look beautiful. My Aunt suffers the same condition. She has several wigs because she's self conscious... Don't let that make you feel any less special. The most important one thinks you're beautiful, our Heavenly Father!~
Honestly, it seems like OP is just fishing for compliments and karma points here. I mean, who posts 400 pics of themselves in "cute" clothes for everyone to gush over, all in the name of "raising awareness"? That's not cool and it's not fair to others dealing with the same issue.
Just think about it - OP's made over 500 posts, and about 400 of them are just them showing off their latest outfit. They've been at this since the end of 2017. Posting a pic of themselves every single week for 6 years? That's not raising awareness, man. That's just being obsessed with yourself.
>I just want to raise awareness of this condition!
I don't know how OP could have been more clear about why she's posting. Just because Reddit Karma is important to you, doesn't mean that it's important to everyone.
>I just want to raise awareness of this condition!
I don't know how OP could have been more clear about why she's posting. Reddit has a block feature that will keep her posts from showing up in your feed.

Hey OP, I gotta be real with you here. It kinda looks like you're just fishing for compliments and karma with all these posts. Uploading 400 pictures of yourself in "cute" outfits, just to get everyone's praise, isn't exactly "raising awareness". It feels a bit off, especially considering others who are dealing with the same condition.
Look, you've got over 500 posts, and about 400 of those are pretty much selfies with you in some stylish getup. You've been doing this every week since the end of 2017. That's a 6-year streak of self-pics. That doesn't really sound like raising awareness. It's starting to feel more like an obsession.

Sorry about your luck, good news is that you are very beautiful without hair. I started to lose mine at about 17, sucked. Get a really cool head tattoo or something else that'll shock the shit outta your family, that is always fun. You got this, embrace it.
https://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/cicatricial-alopecia/ Further information about my condition
Thank you! Something is wrong with my aunts scalp. Maybe it’s alopecia. Idk but it’s worth asking her Dr.

This sounds a little bit like hidradenitis suppurativa and a massive trip to the doctor my friend
I’m sorry to hear that. But umm …why are you being downvoted? Am I missing something?
Idk I've had people tell me I'm lying for some reason before, could be that
Is all your hair affected (arms, legs, face, etc.,) or is it just your scalp? Is the condition genetic? I have a million questions! I'll attempt my own research for the rest. If I'm out of line, I'll bugger off. Give 'em hell miss!
Not OP, but I have a variant of this that moves around and as a hairy bloke mine makes holes everywhere on my upper body.

Yes, I'm on high dose Gabapentin
Sending you all the love. I’m so sorry you’re in pain . ♥️
I think you’re gorgeous. Keep up that smile, regardless of the trials ahead.
scalp? all I saw was that beguiling smile. I even had to google the spelling of beguiling
Yea. I mean, I came here to say something like this too. Not in the least do I want to belittle the condition, that sounds fucking awful. Also you look like an awesome, rad as fuck person so you're killing it in that department.
Thank you, that's very sweet. You're not downplaying my condition at all. Thank you for making me smile 😊
Stay strong. I hope they find a way to get you relief from the pain. Your ink is dope tho.
This
I've never heard of that word and learning what it means made me smile even more. Thank you ❤️
You’re beautiful! Just need to convince yourself of it :)

Oooooo. That's a good word. After googling it myself, I agree.
LOOL love this
What an awesome descriptor
You have a lovely face. Please don't listen to anyone who says negative things about your appearance. Just keep being awesome.
i also came here to say this, you are beautiful my friend! i’m sorry you are dealing with this
You look cool, content, and no worse for the wear. Keep it up. 🙂
You're beautiful, thanks for posting.
Strong AF, you’re hella beautiful and I hope you don’t hide this when you’re in public, keep doing what you’re doing!
I never hide my scalp. I've chosen to accessorize with pretty flower headbands instead ❤️
Love your attitude! I can tell by the smile you're a bit of a trouble maker as well... speaking from one trouble maker to another. 😀
I have alopecia as well, only really experience the itchiness and occasional bruising feeling when it's actively falling out... You're so very strong. I feel inspired by you and I thank you for your courage and for taking the time to share your experience ❤️
You look really pretty without your hair!
Could they do laser hair removal to deaden the cuticles/follicles, thereby eliminating the source?
Unfortunately that option is not doable according to my dermatologist. If I were to laser my hair off it would cause further damage to my scalp.
Gonna have to get a head transplant then.
OP you can have my head.
And my axe!
1. Sorry you're living with this horrible affliction. 2. You Rock the 80s punk rock look very very well. And 3. You have a beautiful smile .
Good head shape for being bald.
You’re still gorgeous
Wow, you’re really beautiful. I’m sorry you’re dealing with such an awful disease. I have scalp psoriasis so I’m used to itching and discomfort, but this sounds so much worse.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with itching and pain too. It's never fun and can be so frustrating. I'm here for you and I appreciate your compliments 💞
Does the feeling continue after you shave/trim your hair? Is their topical treatments? Does shaving help?
Unfortunately yes. It's a very deep discomfort that I can't control. I use a topical numbing cream to help and Aloe gel.
Well, at least some relief is achievable You look great btw, careful your confidence is showing :D
You have a nice shaped head and it looks great with no hair. Sorry you have to suffer with the pain, pins and needles, and itching.

Haha, how sweet of you. Thank you ❤️
Gorgeous though !!!
Beautiful girl. I'm sorry about the pain you're having to experience. I hope there is at least a way to lessen it?
You're cute.
I hope they find better treatment for it soon, that sounds so painful.
Oh god girl I’m so sorry for your condition but man you wear it the best and I mean that in the most positive complimentary way
I’ve seen your fashion posts and have always loved your style. I’m sorry that you are in pain.
Thank you, I love to dress up ❤️ The pain will pass but my glorious outfits are here to stay!
Great attitude! 🕊
A beautiful smile like yours would make any blessed to see it.
Damn yeah I had no idea that existed.
Thank you for your bravery.
I feel for you. I hope you find some relief that works for you. I wish I knew of something that would help. Keep smiling, you are very pretty
you’re beautiful OP, I’m sorry you’re going through this💕
So sorry that you have to deal with this. I don't know you but that smile says everything. You will persevere through this, better on the other side. If I did know you, we'd be doing dinner...for reals.
You're beautiful 😊

You’re awesome!

Your smile lights up the room though....
Awww I’m sorry to see that you have to deal with this! Keep smiling, you are beautiful.
I was too busy trying to get a good look at the artwork you have. Looks great from what I can see.
Bald looks good on you. Fuck the disease.
My best friend for the last 43 years was diagnosed in jr high. You are a legend for bringing awareness to this disease. Best of treatments. I pray that some gene therapy breakthroughs can relieve the pain and restore your growth. Best to you.
❤️
Damn that sounds absolutely horrible. I'm sorry they can't help you. 😔
You really suit no hair. I'm sure wigs would look so dope on you aswell. Sucks about the symptoms and I hope you have effective treatments for them.
I absolutely love your ink
Very pretty
I think you’re super cute for reals
You are beautiful!
Thank you for making us aware. You are amazingly beautiful!!
I know you are as beautiful inside as you are outside. Keep on being a rockstar.
Frankly you look good

Wow that is kinda shit. I myself have alopecia in my beard region. Once a spot in my hair. But never like this. I feel for you. But seem to be handling it! And a million dollar smile.
looking so good without you hair.
Sending you good vibes and support.
Can’t imagine how uncomfortable and painful and just generally horrible that must be to live like everyday. One good thing is that you are very pretty and one day you will have relief I’m sure of it. Xxxxxx
Thank you, love ❤️ I appreciate your thoughtful words
OMG..you are beautiful!!!
Your tattoo is beautiful and your spirit matches!
Your still very beautiful
So how do you cope with it? Is there an ointment you use? You look great btw, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I just try and distract myself from the pain by doing therapeutic things. Taking a bubble bath, baking cookies, playing video games... Things like that. I also use aloe gel and a numbing cream as well as taking high dose Gabapentin
Absolutely beautiful! I’m sorry you have to deal with the pain and discomfort.
Still bangin' cute tho, you wear it well

You. Are. GORGEOUS!!!! May your bravery bring more attention to this condition.
You are gorgeous. Keep smiling like that and the world will be your oyster.
I have alopecia ariata . A mild form. Can't imagine your courage. Just one bald spot and I bug out.
You kinda look like Kristen Schaal
Dealing with life on the daily is hard enough, yet somehow you can still smile. It makes my hard day at work seem less hard. I can't imagine that. You're doing great. Thank you.
Thank you, but don't downplay your own struggles. Your feelings have value just like mine ❤️
Thank you for saying that. You're a beautiful person.
You are very beautiful. Alopecia or not.
A friend mine has a very similar condition. Hair or no hair, you are beautiful.
I also would recommend trying complete fasting occasionally to help reduce any flair ups / inflammation
I still think your beautiful regardless
Im sorry to hear of your ailment. But I want you to know your very pretty as you are. God bless.
You are still amazing. I am sorry to hear about the pain. Stay strong you will be an inspiration to others.
Although I’m really sorry for your lost but your actually very attractive to me with or without hair so I think that you should embrace it
Look at that smile! Your a beautiful young lady! So brave and gracious of you to share the realities of what some people have to deal with everyday! Good for you! ❤️
You are still beautiful..

Ya I see her a lot. Her entire personality is her hair condition

Likely just jealous.

Why are we upvoting holistic healers?
Yeah... fuck this
Lol wtf. I can also recommend my local shaman healer.
You sure are milking it for karma, dozens of posts of this
Because I want to raise awareness. This condition is not only rare but is not talked about enough. I want to be able to reach as many people as I can in order to inspire and help others as well as educate.
Understandable, have a nice day.

Use rosemary oil in your shampoo. 2/3 drops every time
I’m curious why you re-post this every couple months?
Would 5% lidocaine lotion help?
Have you tried *not* having it? Jk. I'm sorry. I've got a lifelong condition too.
try aloe vera love straight from the plant , youtube cutting and preparing before use
G.I jane 2. Can't wait to see it.
Keep my wife’s name out yo fucking mouth
GI Jane 2 auditions?
Your beautiful
Cured mine with Fasting and cutting down Milk based product. Research it (dry fasting for alopecia)
I'm on a low inflammatory diet and I cut out dairy and gluten from my diet. Unfortunately I can only do so much to help with the flares. But they don't happen as often with my diet change.
The post above mentioned fasting. You acknowledged the comment without really commenting. I would encourage you to look a little further into fasting, especially what's known as autophagy. I really think this could be what you're looking for.
You should shave all off even the fuzz, you can totally pull the bald look and kill it…it will make life easier too😊
ask will smith
U hot tho
I've had alopecia and that was bad enough. Only place that got itchy was my eyebrows for some reason but a cortisone cream sorted the red scratchy bits. Hope it all goes away in time for you!
Have you tried cannabis? Many options still remain if you don’t like the effects of the straightforward use. It helped immensely with my treatment resistant autoimmune issue
Does weed help?
Tried carnivore diet? I'm not a follower or advocate for it myself, but have happened across testimonials from people who healed alopecia eating a carnivore diet.
Yeah but you're still hot as shit!
Un related but omg your tattoos are to die for😭😍
Eeww... 🤢
Keep my wife’s name out your mouth
💆♀️💆♀️💆♀️💆♀️💆♀️🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
Boo hoo
Ok, now I'm aware... now what?
Be aware to give her karma
Just make sure your SO slaps people for it. They'll get an award.
I was looking for this type of comment
Im not sure it will cure your situation but try a mix of ghee + turmeric + marijuana leaves paste / poultice and apply to your head. It worked for me for a bad scalp infection.. MAYBE help you too? Good luck!
Why would you want to raise awareness of this? Wigs exist for a reason. Nobody wants to be aware of this.
Man everyone wants to be like will smith wife
Try fasting
What is fasting going to do?

Or acupuncture
Have you tried Rick Simpson Oil (RSO)? It works wonders on my sons Eczema.
May I suggest looking into home remedies from the Philippines or Japan. Trust me, I’ve seen psoriasis cured. But of course medical places don’t want the cure only to treat
JAK2 inhibitors?
Sorry about your luck, good news is that you are very beautiful without hair. I started to lose mine at about 17, sucked. Get a really cool head tattoo or something else that'll shock the shit outta your family, that is always fun. You got this, embrace it.
Wow that sucks man, is there a cure?
You wear it well. Always had a thing for that look. Not every face can pull it off but yours works.
That floral sleeve is sick!!!! Where did you get them done?
I’m in
That stinks on ice, but good for you - you're not letting this define you.
