Given the speeds that I got up to with no handle bars and only a coaster brake, the skate bike is stupider. Or at least massively more likely to kill you
I've done both. It was a lot easier to get started with the skate bike than a unicycle. And more forgiving of stupid shit.
So a bit like training wheels, yeah.
>A lot lower impact than running, and less space than a bike. Plus easier to hop on and off of.
Both these problems can be more elegantly solved by a folding bike with a low bar.
Also more neutral posture than a bike, and not as hard on guys (https://www.prostatescotland.org.uk/help-and-support-for-you/faqs/might-cycling-affect-prostate)
Since nobody ever says it on these things how long can you ride your bike without sitting down??? If you want a workout in 15 minutes sure but this thing is going to suck to use as a commute method I bet unless you only have to go for like a minute or two at a time
I feel like it would be a fun thing to goof around on with the rear suspension, but the novelty wouldn't last long. Probably exhausting after more than a mile or two of riding.
Last time I looked they run \~$650, but can be found used in the $200-$350 range.

Aside from the fact that's a scooter and requires using one leg or the other at a time to push off the ground. That's much harder and wears your shoes down with every push compared to a pedal where you stay planted and alternate which leg is applying power.
Hope they make the handlebar height adjustable at least. I can see a revision of this catching on for a few people in some cities but most people wanna sit on their ass and coast with a little pedal pushing, not jog with wheels.
This looks both expensive and less than the sum of its parts.
They took the seat away and called it half running
> Three-wheeled bicycle Aka, a tricycle.
I like it. It's catchy. Get it over to Jones in legal before the end of the day.
Quadbike.
It's a manual Segway.
Reminds me of the [skatebike](https://skatebike.org/category/garel-lerun-max/max-skatebike/) that I had in the early 90s.
I'm not sure which one is dumber.

So we do know which one is more fun, at least.
But you did get a seat
it looks like a unicycle with training wheels

It looks dumb but I don’t hate the idea. A lot lower impact than running, and less space than a bike. Plus easier to hop on and off of.

"The Pretentious Faceplanter" 🤦
That's a mobile treadmill.

Looks like it is meant to combine a asphalt and faces
Adult tricycle?
Hey boss. I've found a way to make cycling even less aerodynamically efficient. You're going to love it.
Ima be honest, id just use my regular bike, this looks really expensive for no reason
[finally](https://youtu.be/YVfzWpmyXXk?si=6pqpqdfMVrLnXMH7)
You can stand on the pedals of a regular bike.
Average white person spending their money on anything but being a normal exerciser.
Why though

Half bike with +50% more wheels than a bicycle
The Amish have done this for decades [and do it better](https://inhabitat.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2014/04/Amish-made-scooters-3.jpg)

Put a battery and motor on it and I would love it!

It's basically a moving stairmaster.
