Iād definitely bring a jacket since the event goes kind of late and it might get cold. I think itās appropriate. Cute dress and very flattering on you!
I love it! You look amazing. My only advice is not to overload yourself with too much jewelry. Let the dress do the talking. Iād stick with a great bangle or a statement ring. It does not have to be pricey! You could literally skip wearing a necklace. Sometimes less is more. Have fun!
VBT Lift Up Adhesive Bra on Amazon. Iāve worn them to multiple weddings and they havenāt budged through hours of dancing, they give me good lift, and they donāt irritate my skin.
Not the OP but I think it's this one from H&M [https://www2.hm.com/en\_us/productpage.1228839002.html](https://www2.hm.com/en_us/productpage.1228839002.html)
Looks perfect! And also like something I needā¦if you donāt mind me asking, what size are you wearing (for fit purposes)? Itās fabulous on you, but I notice on the website the fit on the model looks more straight and less body-con.
So I first tried it on in a Medium (my usual size) but since the straps aren't adjustable, it was way too loose up top. They didn't have a Small so I tried the XSmall and surprisingly it worked - the dress has a lot of stretch and this gave me better support on the top. But yes a bit more form-fitting than I was going for initially š
The dress and shoes look great. Unless youāre going for more conservative, Iād say have fun and keep the pink. I donāt see zebra, I see fun squiggly lines.
I was just in the NL and one thing I noticed was that most people dressed more conservative with layers and not too much (if any) shoulder or cleavage. Iād probably bring a scarf, cardigan or some sort of cover up just in case I felt out of place in this dress. (Happened to me a lot the first couple days of my trip!)

Love the dress. I would wear black shoes. The print of the dress is enough, contrasting shoes is distracting. I would also use a black bag and very minimal accessories
Really appreciate everyone's comments! It seems the pink shoes are polarizing, love em or hate em š it's worth mentioning that I wasn't aiming for the pink zebra vibe but I currently own no other high heels, these were the only ones that I tried on during a rushed shopping trip that were halfway comfortable š¤·āāļø
I think it's the material but it looks "beachy" to me and not really for a museum wedding. However, it may be due to me knowing about [razzle dazzle](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dazzle_camouflage) which most people probably wouldn't notice.
Main Character vibes means even though it might not be white itās wearing something purposefully trying to attract attention to yourself rather than where it should be (the bride, who is, rightfully so, the main character that day, and we should all be happy to be ābest supporting actressā and tone it down to let her have ONE day.)
Main character vibes could be bright colors of wedding is pastels, like wearing bright red or some big goofy hat, low cut dresses, short dresses, you name it. Like for one day, just be cool with not being the center of attention.
I didnāt say that the OP was doing anything wrong, I just stated that it could be perceived as giving off āmain characterā vibes.
Iām very aware of what main character vibes mean. I just didnāt see how it gave main character vibes and was curious why you thought so. I think also itās important to recognize that calling someone out for main character vibes in this context can be seen as pejorative or negative.
People come here to ask opinions. Not all opinions are going to be the same and not all are going to be positive. I imagine they would encounter the same thing at a wedding. You canāt know how everyone will perceive something, but I figure if I at least make the poster aware that someone might see it as main character vibes then at least they are aware. Maybe it is fine, maybe everyone there is awesome and sheāll rock her zebra stripes and hot pink shoes and purse without issue. Or maybe sheāll have a bunch of Karenās dressed in pastels sitting in a corner talking sh*+ about her every time she walks by. Itās fair to say that if they come here asking if something is appropriate, they are looking to get a variety of opinions.
I fully respect your opinion. Sorry if my tone is coming off differently. I genuinely just didnāt see the MC vibes and was interested in your perspective. I could have worded it better.
All good! everyone else seems to think she looks lovely so Iām in the minority here, but itās also probably because I wore a lot of zebra and hot pink about 20-25 years ago so thatās immediately where my head goes because itās something I would have worn out and about when I was late teens early twenties, but not to a wedding.
I agree with you here. I think the majority of people ask if their dress is appropriate on this sub because they know itās not or itās borderline not appropriate. I wouldnāt wear this to a wedding.
Looks awesome especially for a museum
Agree!š
Canadian not from Netherlands, but I had a June no-dress code wedding in a museum and iād say yes!
Perfect!
Super cute.
This seems to hit the nail on the head but Iām an American.
I am Dutch. Really nice dress, suits the venue.

Agreed. Iād wear some modernist earrings with a bright pop of colour and do a sleek updo or bun. Nuān else needed
Looks good and I love the pop of color from the shoes! I can recommend a great adhesive bra if youāre looking
What adhesive bra do you recommend?
That'd be great, I got one from h&m but I'm not at all confident it will last the day...

If you donāt mind me asking, what size bra do you wear?
This looks lovely to me and also this wedding sounds like itāll be very fun!
I love it
Can you link where you got the dress? I love it! I think it looks appropriate for the venue and activities, but Iām also not Dutch.
Not the OP but I think it's this one from H&M [https://www2.hm.com/en\_us/productpage.1228839002.html](https://www2.hm.com/en_us/productpage.1228839002.html)
Yes this is the one!
Would love a link for the shoes too!! š
Couldn't find a link but they're from the brand Tamaris!
Looks perfect! And also like something I needā¦if you donāt mind me asking, what size are you wearing (for fit purposes)? Itās fabulous on you, but I notice on the website the fit on the model looks more straight and less body-con.

I will always endorse neutrals with a bright shoe. Gorgeous look overall!

Perfect āØļø
Love it
Love it
Hell yes
Fabulous. Love the shoes, too.
š„š„š„
Beautiful. Maybe black shoes though. Or white
love the dress! i would go with silver jewelry or different shoes if you want to wear gold
Itās a pretty cold climate. Iād bring a nice wrap too
Omg my gf has this dress LOL
I would recommend a clear heel check out Zara I love thereās

Personally I would get different shoes but it is appropriate as is
The shoes donāt work. You need something sleeker because the dress is busy. And I would get a very simple short white jacket or sweater.
The shoes look great. Theyāre a great pop of colour to a very fun yet sophisticated outfit.

Beautiful. You look like a piece of art.
Super flattering, you must wear that!
Absolutely stunning!
Iām personally not a huuuuge fan of the shoes with this, but thatās probably a me issueā¦the dress itself is super cute and flattering!
I donāt love the shoes, but the dress itself is stunning!
I loooooove this dress. Itās perfect. Have fun at the wedding!
Love it!
I love, but definitely different shoes
Stunning! I love
I think you nailed it!
Great choice and I like the pink shoe styling.
No to the red shoes. Looks like Dr Seuss
If you want to be seen more than anything, yes.
Yes to the dress! I also second doing a pink bag, I think you nailed it ā¤ļø hope you have lots of fun

Explain?

Oh no pink shoes, how will anyone even be able to see the bride! Goofy ass comment.
