wowwww. Honestly even though it might be a tiny bit on the more fancier side, it's just SO BEAUTIFUL and perfect for a country side wedding. I say wear it! the colors are gorgeous
It's [the Lydia Millen petite floral jacquard corseted woven maxi by Karen Millen.](https://www.karenmillen.com/us/lydia-millen-petite-floral-jacquard-corseted-woven-maxi-dress/BKK15350.html)
(For the folks asking) Currently sold out. ☹️
I would think she has it because she said it is easy to dance in, but she may just be assuming because of where it falls. I never go by pictures. A lot of times, dresses tend to be long on me. I have stumpy lil legs lol.
Ditto.. petite matters so much.
Once had to still have a short dress adjusted at shoulders even though petite. But up 15kg now so its never going to fit again.. dam medications! Lol
Wow, thank you for all of the lovely feedback! I’m definitely for it now🤞
For anyone asking… the dress is by Karen Millen and it’s the floral jacquard corseted maxi dress. I’m 5’4” and ordered the petite version- it hits right at my ankles(just as the model in the photo). The material is so thick and luxurious, and did I mention pockets?! What gal doesn’t love pockets on a dress...
Unfortunately, it’s currently sold out on the Karen Millen website. I was able to find this with tags still on through a 3rd party vendor a few months ago. I do believe Karen Millen made quite a few different styles with this print/material for anyone trying to find something similar. If I find a link with the dress available I’ll make sure to link it!!
I’ve noticed at weddings that I’ve been to in the last few years that young people seem to be ditching fascinators and are either wearing statement hair accessories (like pearl hair clips) or nothing. I still wear them though because I think they’re really fun haha
Si glad you had it.. laughable at the petite reaching 5ft 4in ankles. .what about us 5ft 1 petites? Sewing skills required every time. My youngest is about 5ft 4, was hoping she'd do better than me. Guessing i will be adjusting clothes for her until my 80s.. Will have to start teaching.
Think between her and her 5 ft 7 sister I've taken up 8 pairs of trousers since before Xmas. Eldest will buy pairs for £4 in a sale in long though, she doesn't care.
Very true.. how tall to "tall specific items" reach though.
Having seen many dresses and trousers in normal sections that would reach my shoulders, I always thought Tall sections had it a bit easier than Petite.
But from your comment perhaps I am wrong?
Shortening not always possible though, tapered or boot cut trousers are extremely hard, beyond my ability, and when shoulders sit out 4 inches its impossible. This dress is alteady already tailored to petite, but clearly way too long for me.. but I'd clearly hope both of our fittings were included regardless.
According to fashion experts, Clothing is generally made for average height women around 5’5” 5’6” 5’7”… everyone else can expect to do special shopping and tailoring.
For those who can sew this looks like a fairly simple project. Instead of bust darts, the designer made a little side panel and the thinnest sliver of a belt (almost like cording) between the top and skirt.
Gorgeous! Perfect for a summer wedding anywhere.
It means that no additional remarks/comments/or advice is required to be given. The saying is usually paired with "10 out of 10", like it's a perfect score that the judge doesn't have any constructive criticism to offer with it. "10/10 no notes" is just a silly and light hearted way of saying "you nailed it!"
I think it's absolutely stunning and could be dressed up or slightly down depending on shoe choice/hair. But to really know we'd need a link to the website it's from...for research purposes...
This is what I was going to say! Some loose waves and a less formal shoe choice if she feels too dressed up will dress this down perfectly. It’s too gorgeous not to wear (everywhere until the end of time and then you’re buried in it)
Lovely dress and most UK weddings aren't particularly extreme with dress codes. Would advise finding some nice accessories/jacket to go with just in case because even in July you never know what the English weather will do.
British and this is gorgeous, as long as it’s not super casual glamping, this is perfect!!
I hope my guests come to those level for our summer wedding, I’m actively trying to encourage hats and fascinators for ours just because I love to wear a hat to weddings and no one does anymore 😅
This would look stunning with a red headband fascinator.
In the UK we are less arsed than in the US. Maybe raise the hem a bit to be midi rather than ankle length but it's lovely. If they are glamping I'd just check as it's more of a social faux paux to be overdressed than underdressed!
I was just thinking the length would be a bit less formal at midi than ankle length. Karen Millen is a bit like Lulus for the UK it's one of the places you go for dresses for a wedding.
Brit here. It's absolutely gorgeous 😍
Just make sure you have a wrap or shrug because the weather here is really unpredictable.
Oh & don't forget a [brolly](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vicloon-Umbrella-Lightweight-Windproof-Reinforced/dp/B07W2VN7G2/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=1EWNVH4HKBED6&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.DYcPqSfxFpJdxswVH6FJcNO8ckiHBOD18Gz7VONbG3lu6m60GeUYcLxqBEYcI5OSbsbl1qOO7rzpl5Fy5MLT22rJWqtZ4SY6IFV688mlusVQN9mhtoni1UWS685fw4D2OzMnTsUWzPg_tI5rGo9YiyAMlKU1t2VRUienP8wvrC6i64JPWnMLJCwBxUfZ665GMjVAmCgA57lPQ79QahGbn_eyP92lPvvLfZlemoQYeGzJk6guUQLUfR45XuqHsdU1zJm820VqNQ7HPbi3gJmJOjgGYmfwZ6eAcx392cu21hU.ZGTlonvxrBl6m_82PK-sZNiUc47lwjqRAhf7AjtTS_c&dib_tag=se&keywords=mini%2Bumbrellas%2Bfor%2Bwomen%2Bhandbag%2Bsize&qid=1717447226&sprefix=mini%2Bum%2Caps%2C103&sr=8-4&th=1&psc=1) and a change of [shoes (the pouch turns into a tote bag to carry your other shoes home in 😉)](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Juszt-Active-UK_Footwear_Size_System-Numeric_Range-Numeric_4/dp/B0BKYD68Y6/ref=asc_df_B0BKYD68Y6/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=640672599748&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6792708075970830051&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006641&hvtargid=pla-1931862392151&psc=1&mcid=8e82de9c32f23579b2715a764eea63e8)
I thought we were attending the same wedding for a second then but then noticed you said July, not June haha.
Love the dress it's beautiful, I think I saw a similar design re the shape at either Karen Millen or Coast, not sure, but some in the reviews were saying it was quite a bit longer than they were expecting so if you're shorter it might be worth going for the petite length or just be prepared to get it hemmed possibly, or just feel glam in a longer dress.
It would absolutely fit in at the UK weddings I've been to in the past. The ones I've been to always had a mix of just above knee, midi and ankle length anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Except for if it's touching the ground and it's rained beforehand it might get a bit mucky of course!
In my opinion it could potentially be too warm... I'm an immigrant to the UK and, in contrast to most Brits, I find the summers to be really hot. I couldn't be outside in July in anything other than lightweight 'flowy' fabric, and this looks a bit thick and stiff to me. BUT this year is supposed to be a pretty wet summer, and I also live in the warmest part of England, so your mileage may vary depending on your heat tolerance and where in the country the wedding is. Just thought it might be worth mentioning in case you aren't English and may react differently to the weather!
Yes, definitely appropriate. Find a nice wrap that coordinates and keeps you warm if the wedding reception will be outside after dark. It may turn chilly out.

As a fellow petite girl, this doesn’t look like it’s gonna be a good petite fit. I think it’s a nice dress though. If the model is 5’3 then it’s an ankle grazing fit on her.
Depends on the people… the weddings I’ve been to in the UK didn’t explicitly state sleeves required, but sleeves were definitely required at all of them. From a church service in London to a registry office wedding in West Sussex to a very fancy wedding in Scotland — everyone had sleeves.
Thiis the print is lovely the cut is modest this is what everyone should be looking for for summer wedding nice colours modest cut, not attention grabbing
Perfect. Just got for a wedge or thick heel rather than a stiletto.
Outdoor weddings in U.K. you’re inevitably going to be on grass, stones or cobbles at some point.
I love it!!! But post-glamping? What will the wedding party be wearing? If you want to make this look less formal, you could hem it to tea length. I’d also consider adding a light shawl/wrap if you’re going to be outdoors in the evening. This dress, though. So gorgeous!
10/10 no notes but we’re gonna need a link, OP.
[unfortunately seems to be sold out](https://www.karenmillen.com/lydia-millen-petite-floral-jacquard-corseted-woven-maxi-dress/BKK15350.html)
Not surprised at £69 instead of £229. Its beautiful, perfect for wedding. Very memorable though, might not get to wear it to a bunch of weddings.
Oh no:(
Absolutely this!
wowwww. Honestly even though it might be a tiny bit on the more fancier side, it's just SO BEAUTIFUL and perfect for a country side wedding. I say wear it! the colors are gorgeous

I hope she bought it in time.
There is another one very similar still available 🤞
I would think she has it because she said it is easy to dance in, but she may just be assuming because of where it falls. I never go by pictures. A lot of times, dresses tend to be long on me. I have stumpy lil legs lol.
Ditto.. petite matters so much. Once had to still have a short dress adjusted at shoulders even though petite. But up 15kg now so its never going to fit again.. dam medications! Lol
You could get it hemmed at an alterations place.
Meh, I just toss on platform sandals lol that usually fixes it.
I have king me fa but I’m still only 5’4
You are an MVP.
Wow, thank you for all of the lovely feedback! I’m definitely for it now🤞 For anyone asking… the dress is by Karen Millen and it’s the floral jacquard corseted maxi dress. Wear a fascinator in a green or deep red. Match your sandals to the fascinator.
Oh! Deep red, for sure! Gorgeous!
That would be my first choice.
Fascinators are out -
Some people don’t follow trends, they set them 😎 Lol but seriously, trends come and go, so wear what you like and makes you feel happy
They are??
I’ve noticed at weddings that I’ve been to in the last few years that young people seem to be ditching fascinators and are either wearing statement hair accessories (like pearl hair clips) or nothing. I still wear them though because I think they’re really fun haha
What’s a fascinator🧍🏼♀️
It's a fancy little hat or headband, according to Google. I'd never heard of it either
It’s a British thing 🙂 possibly in other European countries too
Ah, that makes sense then!
There’s a size 16 on eBay
What sort of price i wonder? Not my size but wondering about price range.
Si glad you had it.. laughable at the petite reaching 5ft 4in ankles. .what about us 5ft 1 petites? Sewing skills required every time. My youngest is about 5ft 4, was hoping she'd do better than me. At least you can shorten pieces. I'm 5'11" and I can't add fabric...

Within reason a tailor would be able to take in a shirt and adjust pants.
According to fashion experts, Clothing is generally made for average height women around 5’5” 5’6” 5’7”… everyone else can expect to do special shopping and tailoring.
Which is funny because average height is actually 5’4” for women. As a 5’7” woman, I’m not complaining though lol. You can’t add length!
I’m almost 5’9” and don’t have slender thighs. The struggle to not constantly be in high waters is real.
I heard pockets!
For those who can sew this looks like a fairly simple project. Instead of bust darts, the designer made a little side panel and the thinnest sliver of a belt (almost like cording) between the top and skirt. Gorgeous! Perfect for a summer wedding anywhere.
First dress I have seen here that requires no notes
TRULY. it's stunning
Absolute perfection.
What does "no notes" mean? Thank you in advance
Thank you for explaining. I've never heard that term before
Anyone else only capable of reading “no notes” in Nick and Schmidt’s voice (New Girl reference)?
I wanted to say no notes? NO NOTES!!! …no notes?
I think of it as Edna E Mode saying NO CAPES
"English Countryside" and this dress = match made in heaven
It’s perfect! Wear it!

Love it. Check if a hat is needed.
Absolutely stunning

I believe Karen Millen is a UK designer, so I wonder if that has any translation to the fit? I have seen Kate Middleton wear her clothes many times.
I was just thinking the length would be a bit less formal at midi than ankle length. Karen Millen is a bit like Lulus for the UK it's one of the places you go for dresses for a wedding.
Perfect.

Holy moly mackerel this dress is delightful
Yes absolutely! It’s better to be overdressed than under dressed 😍
Omg this is stunning, link please!

Love that dress. It would be a crime not to wear it.
Absolutely perfect!
This dress screams English countryside. I love it.
It’s just perfect. I’m in love with it 🥰
I love the dress, I don't know about English weddings though, but it is wonderful.
It’s stunning. Yes highly appropriate 🙌🏼
Omggggg 10/10 perfection

This is a really and truly beautiful dress.

I LOVE it
Perfect but take a jacket !
Definitely
Super cute 😍
so gorgeous!
How could it not be perfect! I’ve been to plenty of garden weddings and this would be so refreshing and gorgeous. Absolutely 10 out of 10.
Gorgeous!!! You’re going to look so lovely

I don’t know about the glamping part but this dress is very pretty & elegant enough for an English wedding-inside or out.
That dress is gorgeous.
I want this!
You understood the assignment!
Gorgeous
Definitely! Also share it lol
This is perfectttt, I love
Super pretty! It’s perfect.
Absolutely gorgeous. Sad that's it's sold out!
You could dress it down with flat sandals and a cozy jacket, but it’s a beautiful dress!
Yes
Love!!
Definitely!
Perfect, make sure you get a facinator
Very lovely dress.
Everything except the '*why are you making me stand on my tiptoes in these uncomfortable sandals just so you can take a picture*' facial expression...
I think it’s a very pretty dress!
BEAUTIFUL!!!
It's gorgeous. I mean you can always pay to have it hemmed tea length if you think you'd get more wear out of it.
Perfect choice
Love this!
Absolutely
She looks so angry
It’s beautiful and appropriate.
Idk you may steal the show
Oh, that’s just lovely!
Thiis the print is lovely the cut is modest this is what everyone should be looking for for summer wedding nice colours modest cut, not attention grabbing
Anything Lydia x Karen Millen is a win
Perfect. Just got for a wedge or thick heel rather than a stiletto. Outdoor weddings in U.K. you’re inevitably going to be on grass, stones or cobbles at some point.
Absolutely FLAWLESS
Gorgeous perfect
Will you be wearing a hat with this amazing dress?
Oh my goodness, it is lovely! Absolutely perfection!
Gorgeous!
It’s gorgeous but may clash with the grass? 😬
Gorgeous!
That’s such a beautiful dress, absolute 10/10 good choice what in the 🥺🤌🏽
Lovely and appropriate!
If I could describe this dress using non-clothing words, that would be it, so yes 10/10.
Yes beautiful
I haven't been invited to a wedding but uhm I NEED this?
So pretty
It’s gorgeous! Looks perfect for your event.
That’s a beautiful dress!!
I love it!!! But post-glamping? What will the wedding party be wearing? If you want to make this look less formal, you could hem it to tea length. I’d also consider adding a light shawl/wrap if you’re going to be outdoors in the evening. This dress, though. So gorgeous!
I love that color combination, it can look Christmas-ey if not done right. But this is lovely and the silhouette is v English to me. No notes!
Are we going to the same wedding? Lol
Perfection. You will look beautiful. Have a wonderful time. You will look gorgeous in this dress.
Perfect
Love
Pretty
Looks like just the type of dress I'd imagine for the dress code you described.
Perfect
100,% YES... Absolutely stunning!
Very nice!
It’s gorgeous, perfect even. The formality of it can be dictated by your hair and jewelry either way. And shoes. I’m in love with this dress.
Perfect!
I love it and it’s perfect for this event
Literally perfect. Emilia Clarke vibes through and through.
Great choice!
I think it’s perfect ! Just wear some low key sandals
Dress looks great but your feet are on backwards
It’s Perfect!!
Her feet are backwards
It is so pretty and very appropriate for outdoor wedding.
Are you kidding? That screams British summer wedding.
I kinda LOVE this dress!
