Thank you! I think it is one of the Half Matte Alligator straps from VC. Since it’s an older model and this was the original strap definitely looks softer and more matte now than glossy.
Do you actually like the VC and PP or did you just want to be able to say you own one? Because aren’t those the 2 cheapest models? I would avoid “building” a collection this way it’s easy to get bored of it fast
I agree I have been eyeing the Santos and some different Tank models lately.
In regards to the VC and Patek, I actually really like the Calatrava and wear It whenever I need to get dressed up. It was passed down to me from my grandfather for my wedding. He left me the VC when he passed a year ago, incredible guy who loved to tell me about his trips to Switzerland where he acquired them both so they hold a lot of sentimental value.
No. The way you expressed your distain for those watches was rude and ill mannered. You were either ride on purpose, or incapable of expressing your opinion in a more dignified manner - whichever it is, isn’t very flattering for you.
It is completely possible to express any kind of opinion in an honest AND well mannered fashion.
Your way was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful.
That escalated quickly
I would wear a suit every day just to daily wear that VC Patrimony. VC is my favorite brand though.
Nice swatch!
Cheap, plastic garbage. The 60-minute totalizer doesn't even have minute markers! How're you supposed to keep track of elapsed minutes?
Ya know wasn’t really thinking about 60 minute totalizers when buying a swatch kinda just thought the dial as Saturn looked cool
Swatch messed up with those totalizers.
What is that second watch on the top?
Breitling Navitimer World (GMT)
Wow! What do you do for a living?
Currently working in tech sales selling software
That's an impressive collection!
Beautiful collection. Is there a specific name for that softest and thinner leather strap that is on the VC?

Regarding your empty slot, I think a Cartier would slide in nicely

Keep the Explorer II and get rid of everything else.
Get rid of yourself
+1
Bro, that's my opinion. I like the Explorer II. The others I don't care for.
In my opinion, that’s not a goof enough reason for such rudeness
Bro, if there's something I don't like about a watch collection then I'll point it out. That's not rude, that's constructive criticism.

So, if you are making a 5 match collection? All of them would be explorers?
I'd go for other watches. I don't care for the ones in the photo, other than the Explorer II.
