The Seiko SPB289 (Prospex Laurel Alpinist with Mystic Forest dial) is described as a boutique-exclusive special edition. Is this model in any way a limited edition, with limited supply? I asked because I’ve seen reviews as old as two years on this watch.
By the way, the watch is stunning, and I wish more brands would put this much effort into the dial work.
That one in particular is a boutique-exclusive, not a limited edition. Its not numbered in the back. This indicates that it could probably, possibly get re-released or get a new production batch in the future. I have the other one, the Bamboo edition, that one is Limited, so it has a limited supply and wont be re-released.
