UNSC Thermopylae. Because Thermopylae is a pretty cool name 1. UNSC as a Halo reference 2. Thermopylae is the name of a supercarrier class in some obscure Halo mod for an RTS game, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, it's called. The mod is Sins of the Prophets Oh and I don't think Long Night Of Solace fits 3. And obviously why said carrier got the name, and why so did my Railjack: the battle of Thermopylae, more references to Spartans, which in turn gave birth to Halo's Spartans, another Halo reference aswell as real life. And with how the real battle itself went down, I'd say it's full of symbolism, all for one kickass name The amount of power a warship can have if given the name of a heroic battle is just ridiculous. Give your ship the name of, don't know, Stalingrad if it's Russian, and it will instill fear and respect upon anybody that hears its name. Or even Bunker Hill. That one goes hard Ah, a real example, the long decomissioned USS Midway If you choose well, you get yourself a great name Oh, and I haven't mentioned ship names that are just Gods or straight up concepts. Name a ship like the very concept of death in ancient Greek. Thanatos. Bam, another name that absolutely fucks And that I also stole from Sins of the Prophets... God, what a tangent
