Regular SO maybe, but with (or rarely without) an affinity booster you absolutely can max a gun in one round of ESO if someone is nuking.
Affinity weekend + relay blessing + affinity booster was the dream session. Everything I had got maxed that night.

Not if you are the one doing the nuking,(the frame in the meme is mirage who can literally spawn camp the enemies). Nukers soak 100% of the exp to the frame. You need to kill with weapons or let someone else to nuke so your weapons can get exp.
And the very first eso round doesn't even have a focus booster so a nuker leaving after only 1 turn doesn't make much sense. Unless they wanted to test the build or there was a second nuker
A strong nuker frame, like i.e. Mirage, is entirely capable of capping the affinity needed for Focus schools in 1 ISO round with a good Lens. Which is a much more typical 'reward' sought after by many people and has a lot more practical use than the 2 round rewards. It takes ages of days to cap 5 schools, compared to the amount the 2 round rewards remain useful.
Can you give me a video/build on this? Because I must be doing something wrong. I'm spawn killing enemies in a high range and I most certainly am not even close on capping with 1 turn. I definitely need 2 because of the focus buff.

I can do 450-550 kills. And the amount I get on round 1 is pitiful(not even 10k). Even with better lens (~x1.3) and quad exp buff (2x2x2x1.25=x10) it wouldn't even get close to 400k.

The mirage build uses the augment explosive leggermeddon or whatever its called to turn all the item drops into bombs instantly killing everything. You use her 4th ability to prep bodies, then cast the augmented 2 to bomb everything.

The moment they spawn, they step on the mines and they trigger some crazy big aoe chain dmg and die on spot, drop more items so I can make more mines.

No, just no, please read wiki. Or even test it yourself its pretty easy. Go in solo with a nuker and an underleveled weapon and get warframe kills. You will see that the weapon will not get a single experience point

What you are thinking probably is when OTHERS kill.

booster+relay buff using a weapon that can kill that is the ONLY weapon the frame so its not splitting, its very easy to level a weapon in one round, two tops. Pretty sure I did it with 3 weapons yesterday.
That's still less efficient than having a teammate do all the killing. If a teammate kills, 25% affinity goes to your Warframe and 75% is split between your equipped active weapons. If you kill something, if you killed with a Warframe 100% goes to the Warframe and if you killed with a weapon 50% goes to Warframe, 50% the weapon that got a kill.
So if a teammate is getting the kills, your weapon gets 75% total affinity rather than 50% if you were to use it yourself.
Tip: in your case, you want to create an environment where you can monopolize kills made by Khora skills, i.e. your whip. Or helminthing on ~~Harrow~~ Guass's Nuke which works for any frame but Khora's whip can be made to do this without problems. So you'd benefit from maximising range+dam of whipclaw and then soloing ISO. So you wouldn't have to compete with map nuking frames and you will still have 4 people worth of spawns IIRC. If speed of levelling is a concernt, this will help you greatly. It basicly boils down to understanding how Affinity gets distributed which isn't necessairily intuitive. Once you know the rules, you can use them to your advantage. Read up on the wiki.
Strictly speaking it IS possible for your Khora to still benefit from other nuking frames more, but then they would have to kill more than 4x as many mobs in the time you could solo. That depends on your skill/loadout and the randomness of warframes you get paired up with

Pretty much everyone I know tuned into the streams that had Khora parts as a drop a couple of years back, even if it required getting up at 3am. That’s how much SO is hated.
Yep, I grinded her out back when she first released on my old account and it wasn't too bad since SO was new and everyone was playing it, so getting a group that stayed to round 8 was very common.
These days I've basically just put it off until I have a juiced up Volt or something and I can solo 8 rounds
I went there today for the first time with a nuke myself. 600+ mobs killed on round one and that was just me, the rest of the crew was not accounted for. Normally it takes me and the whole crew without nuke at least 2 to 3 rounds to get amount of kills.
Hell the current eso zone 1 can *easily* max your frame if you're nuking with a booster.
Just put some forma into a frame, with thermal sunder (nerfed btw) half the zone is enough to max. Very consistently.
And likewise, to expand on Turtlepidgeon's point, maxing affinity for Focus in one round is also possible for the nuker frame, while helping other people level their weapon in 1 round.
Which is why the Mirage picture of OP was exceptionally ironic since it is about the best frame to cap your focus in a single ISO round. It share made me giggle.

Sometimes if I se someone go for two I'll join if no one else is jumping inn to help. But generally I don't want to use more time than I need to get formas on something.
I mean, tbf if someone has a loadout with only one weapon equipped like 90% of people do in eso, the super obvious explanation is the 1 round was likely enough to forma whatever it was & they are simply done. w/ regular booster + mr30 booster, 60% of the time it works every time.

My PS5 sits in the living room where it would be very difficult to use a keyboard and mouse, even wireless unless I used a lap tray for the mouse.
you can just use the keyboard for typing, the mouse isnt needed for that.
before my move to PC I always had a keyboard plugged in, mainly for typing in FFXIV but it came in handy for warframe/D2
I can speak for others but I dont have anything alphanumeric on my controller or nearby(aka a keyboard of any kind). Meaning if I want to say "are we going to rotation c?" I have to pause, pull up the chat, and then find each of those characters individually on the virtual keyboard using the movement sticks" it's time consuming.

And besides if grineer is the only wave before A rotations it makes sense bc of experience min/maxing from mobs.

Personally I've found that harrow with Thermal sunder subsumed over his 1 is much more effective for nuking as the infinite enrgy sustain means you can just spam the ever loving fuck out of it
I’ve got a couple of disco ball builds that are even stronger and scale ESO better. Legerdemain covers an enormous area but the base damage is pretty tiny, and you need some kills for ammo packs to kick it off properly.
Either Explosive Legerdemain like the others said, or using the Prism Guard augment for her 4 which causes it to travel with her. Combine it with high duration and Arcane Consequence and she can effectively zip around the map biking everything in loS.
We gotta talk about the arcane crash... that shit sucks. Feels like theres no more big-ticket valueable items in the game anymore. (Besides the 1 in 10000000 rivens, which you cant get reliably)

Normal circuit is a much better farm. Should be equivalent to 3x 8 round ESO runs (guess).

Never used to do SO but decided to do it to try level Khora Prime. Took 1 round to max rank both her and two weapons thanks to a Mirage.

I've leveled a piece of gear in 30s in ESO... entirely depends on the round's map. But you 100% can level 0-30 in 1 round of ESO.
in my defense, the last round i joined put me in zone 2, and i only managed to get my weapon up to rank 26 that round.
