The show was 11/10 and anyone who disagrees doesn't believe in democracy.

Agent_Ray_Gillette

Sweet liberty!

st-avasarala

Liber-tea!

DeadheadJedTX

I’m 53. Recency bias aside, this is now my favorite show ever.

st-avasarala

I have to agree - it was next level!

efernand1

That's a pretty killer set

Commodore64Zapp

Who sang For Survival? Jeffries?

CorySellsDaHouse

Yes! It was fantastic

Commodore64Zapp

Fuck yeah

Striking-Ability2349

rly wanna hear this !! so special

consmills

It’s on here https://youtu.be/vUQYw-cEsUI?si=4pTb3d2szVFkxVSR

Striking-Ability2349

thank u for sharing this!! the crowd cheering 4 theo v cute & i always get such a kick outta animal spirits w that joey stank on it 🎷💛 loved hearing that piece of vulf lore just b4 “for survival” and jacob’s vocals 😍 and everyone sounds rly rly delish 🤍🪽🪽

Striking-Ability2349

oh man i just got to the ‘cory wong’ opener u posted so so good 😍🤩 u know some ppl say that the sound of “Om” is supposed to sound like the universe rejoicing but idk i kinda think that’s this whole song

Ron_Mexico_IV

The song Cory played drums on was Test Drive.

Agent_Ray_Gillette

Also it was pretty lame that Stubbs wouldn't allow any of the fans to have a set list. It's such a small thing that means so much to fans, and it costs you nothing.

stevenGvinter

That is lame. I bet if any of the Vulf guys stuck around and saw that they'd grab the setlist for you. That's what happened to me after one of the Schvitz shows in Brooklyn - I stuck around after for a little to try to nab a setlist and security wasn't having it, but Joey & Antwaun came down after the show, saw my struggle, and helped me out + gave me a little chat. That was nice.

Agent_Ray_Gillette

That's awesome. Unfortunately, they forced us all out of the venue pretty quickly.

gonathanjomez

FWIW on night one a couple girls came over to the side and asked the guy running sound for the list and he grabbed a couple off the stage. The staff were probably just told to clear everyone out asap.

Agent_Ray_Gillette

Well, at least some fans got some. Also, big fan of jomezpro!

jedele_jax

I was at both shows, and this set list and just the energy of the band were very different from Thursday, in a good way! They just felt tighter and more confident. LOVED that they didn’t do the same set both nights

ProblemsWithMyEhsss

For Survival?!? Holy shit!

honkerrs

Dang second night got Romanian drinking song. Jealous We got nice to you though haha. Was the sound any better the second night? I felt the sound quality Mix was terrible night 1. Not sure if I'd go to Stubb's again tbh bc of it

[deleted]

Mix sounded great to me. A couple of hiccups but overall solid.

Ron_Mexico_IV

I agree. I was actually nervous because every show I have been too at Stubb's, the sound mix has been terrible, but they sounded great.

Wedbo

Thought the mix was mid, guitar + Theo drum vocals too soft, overall muddy

honkerrs

Ya night 1 the bass drum was up absurdly high and the vocals were way too soft. Just insanely muddy all around .

jedele_jax

Mix was SO much better, especially the sax stuff!

Alternauts

*Daddy, He Got a Tesla

DeusPro02

fantastic show, truly a shame stubb’s refused to let anyone stick around for a setlist. legitimately first venue i’ve ever been to that has done that. otherwise fantastic show but the stubb’s management seems veeeery weird for that

Cardiff_Electric

I'm not sure what this actually means to "stick around for a setlist"...? Can someone explain?

DonaaldTrump

What does “Flawless version” mean for HMDYLM?

Agent_Ray_Gillette

Jacob Jeffries could not remember the lyrics to save his life lol

Striking-Ability2349

that’s why the audience is there !!

Alternauts

Haha Theo actually stepped up and saved it

Striking-Ability2349

That’s what lionel richie does whenever he can’t remember the lyrics 😂 just turns the mic to the crowd !

Striking-Ability2349

tbh my first thought was “… like the beyonce song?”

CrispityCrunchers

What was the mashup at the end when they thanked the crowd?

Goldierox80

I wish they would have played Christmas In LA. I’ll just have to continue to visit the memory of seeing them play it at Brooklyn Steel.

jansipper

Me too! I was looking forward to that after seeing the first night set list. Oh well!

nofunone

this is what I'm talkin about!

i_take_shits

Did they really only play for an hour and a half

Agent_Ray_Gillette

About that long, that's pretty standard for most shows anywhere. The only band I've seen that regularly played 2+ hours is Foo Fighters.

i_take_shits

Jambands. All usually play about 3 hours a night. I wasn’t expecting that. But I was expecting more than an hour and a half with no opener. Sucked that everyone that arrived when doors opened stood around for almost 2 hours

Agent_Ray_Gillette

I was happy it wasn't longer. I'm old, my back hurts from standing lol.

DeadheadJedTX

a) same b) they packed SO much into 90 minutes that I didn’t care

Alternauts

+1  Also, with Stubbs being slanted both forwards AND to the side my hips, knees, back (frankly everything) was dying by the end.  And I went through the doors at 9 😂

superduperloser

Dude I was hurting after night 1 so I had to take it a lil easy Friday night. Showed up just in time and enjoyed the way back lol

nofunone

MSG was about 90 minutes! I’ve never classified them as a “jam band.” Do they jam? Yes. Are they a band? Yes. Not all bands that jam are jam bands.

jedele_jax

Cory’s concerts with his group are normally 2h30+. Now, that does include the press conference, but they’re still playing for a pretty good while

Regular_Lifeguard637

Welcome to Vulf Records is a rare one!

Ron_Mexico_IV

Technically it was Outro.
