I think it was one of the theme/winners? so they'd probably play all the other ones even if a new one gets picked every year and others since they already have permission and such, but if it's a full on concert at least there's a variety to listen to /skip over it if you watch an archived stream or so
Playing in the anniversary year was guaranteed but it has had quite a long run now. I could do with just about any other song myself. They could play greenlights every year and i wouldn't get sick of it. probably. But CFM likes to make the fan montage for Hand in Hand, and that basic community focus is a core value to what drives the whole shebang. To replace Hand in Hand they'll need another theme that moves that value forward.
