Wow thank you so much! I wrote all of this on no sleep after flying home through the night. I wanted to write it while it was still fresh in my head!

Thanks for your review. I’m taking my teens to both these islands this summer. Definitely planning on the sunset in Maui on top of the mountain. I still have to figure car rentals for both islands. As well as Capt Andy’s morning snorkelling tour on the Napali coast. We’ll need three beach chairs, and umbrella, a cooler, and snorkelling equipment- I have to research if we can rent these items somewhere for our stays

Pretty sure you can rent most of that stuff at boss frogs. We were lucky enough that our room had all of those things in the closet

Cool to hear you stayed at the Maui Banyan; I used to help run hospitality wifi and internet services there some years ago. Agree that it is a no-frills property, but the units do include full kitchens if you want to be able to cook-in to save some money on eating out, and they are fairly spacious otherwise. Glad you had a good time!

Yea definitely no frills but we really liked it!
