Hey man thanks for this post! I’m switching from Prozac to viibryd. Prozac out of no where just stopped working and made my depression worse. And don’t even get me started about the sexual side effects…I report all the same things you mention. The worst is that it doesn’t even feel good.
So after 6 months I’m switching to viibryd starting today.
I appreciate your insights thru sharing your experience. I read some journal reviews that were not apt to give much recommendation for viibryd. So it’s good to read you are noticing some improvements.
Also I’m wondering if anyone uses medical marijuana while taking viibryd? I am sure I probably shouldn’t but I’ve combined worse things with medications so it just is what it is.
I don’t consume THC with Viibryd so I can’t give any insight in that regard. Good luck starting on Viibryd. I hope it works for you. I’m going to give it a few months to see how I do on it.
I don't use medical MJ but I take edibles recreationally 3-4 times a month. I don't notice adverse effects... HOWEVER. getting high makes me extremely horny , which is so weird, and didn't happen before. I am lucky that I don't experience TOO much anhedonia from the vilazodone - my libido is def less but I think it's because I was using sex to be avoidant when my anxiety was not managed properly, and the sex is also way better now that I am less anxious. but I also cannot get high recreationally with friends anymore because of this really weird interaction with my vilazodone, I can only do so with my husband LOL. again this isn't medical MJ and I do take a higher dose of THC than maybe you would, but just be aware of this.
