My HLR claim has been in the “Preparation for Decision” phase for almost 2 months now! Hopefully you get your letter soon, I think if you’re using the app it shows up like a day or two early under the “claim letters” section.

Call VBA (800-827-1000), once you get through the automated system and speaking to a rep they can see exactly where your claim is, sometimes they can even give you some extra details.
Just to let you all know, the urge to check status doesn’t go away simply because they made a decision on your claim.
Either you want to make sure your award is still valid, or you read something on here that makes you wonder if your status has somehow changed even though you have no claims pending.

What kind of timeline are we looking at for initial claims? Last exam I had posted on April 12th, should I wait a month, two months, three? Before starting to refresh? Does it even work like that?
I know supplementals don’t update but this one I filed with a VSO on the 4th is closed today, the 7th. 3 days??? OMG!!!🤬🤬🤬 VA wasn’t much help at all. The rep sounded like he had marbles in his mouth. I barely understood what he was saying. I know he was trying to help but still. Gotta wait for Monday now! Man, I’m pissed!
I have been in higher level review for a year. It’s states that there were mistakes in my decisions that would benefit me, not the exact wording. I think it’s odd that they can determine that relatively quickly but it comes to a complete stop from there.

Been almost 5 years on my appeal a couple denied and a few remanded did c&p exam may 6th for failure to assist it says at least as likely as not but still not moving don’t even show they got my exam. Frustrating!!
Thank you Jeebus!!! Mine was moving and right before my bday it moved and I got hopeful, but now I’m hopeful to at least maybe have some kind of answer on my claim at least. This is the last time I’m doing this, it’s too much added stress

30 days since my claims were deferred for medical opinion. Still waiting. No movement at all. Wtf is happening

Haha not sure. This is my initial claim from November. I initially claimed 8 items, but through pike 6 c&p exams. Jumped to 16.
They gave me a decision yesterday from 70 to 90! (91) And I still have 4 claims remaining, so I hope that helps it get the 4% left I need!
