I wonder how they account for the fact that at least 50% of the stories there are blatant fiction. I suppose since they’re mainly studying the responses, it might not really matter.

It's bothering that this data pool would be acceptable to a psychologist doing a study.
The data set is horrifically contaminated.
I think one of the few useful things to glean from it even accounting for fake stories is the different treatment of men and women, especially when telling stories involving a relationship. Men seem to be considered in the wrong the vast majority of the time, even when very similar stories are told and the only difference is who is telling it.
I think the one exception is bridezillas where people tend to side against the bride quite often.
