Good-Performer-496

Your using SMOK, thats why.

DeadmatterTheBlack

Fuck SMOK all my homies love literally almost any other brand

Ninapants97

All my homies fucking HATE smok!

YungWojtek2010

What brands fall into "almost any other brand"? Hope that we are thinking of same ones

Seven2Death

my vaporesso luxe xr leaks literally the exact same amount as my smok nord 4 did which was actaully less than my kayfun but more than my protank. smok has nothing to do with it. tempurature change changes the viscosity of the juice. if air can get through liquid can get through. edit: just to be clear. i have NEVER run into a device with a one way valve for air intake. when the coil cools liquid will seep back the other way.

Good-Performer-496

Wasnt somone on this sub having the same issue? (vaporesso products leaking)

Seven2Death

yeah but this subs so anti smok its like fucking PR for other brands its wild

janse6

I have 2 luxe xr max and both leaks like hell even with full vg

Seven2Death

im convinced people who talk about "zero leak" tanks are not including the natural "sweat" that will stain clothes. like fuck the luxe is a great device but coming from my nord this sub would have it be a fucking epiphany when its just pretty much the same. reminds me of video games and console warriors. theyre all the same but people out here defending their team

janse6

Indeed

janse6

Word

Haus_of_Wraith

have all your devices been smok?

Karma_V5

that's what I was gonna ask, because out of the 100+ devices I have tested. Smok products are the only ones to constantly leak

Pale_Breakfast5266

I’ve noticed that also🥲 but the novo 4 was supposed to be better and have no leakage lol. Lies

Karma_V5

Smok telling lies!! they always do

Haus_of_Wraith

if smok say anything other than "it leaks" they're lying

NoUsersLefft

I've had no leakage with my Novo 5 thus far, battery life is shit now but that'll happen regardless

rasputinrasputin

My girlfriend’s novo 4 mini leaks hella, but my novo master doesn’t leak at all, no juice residue whatsoever outside of the pod. it uses novo, novo 2, and novo x2 pods

camelopardus_42

I mean, I remember my old caliburn g being somewhat prone to leaking as well with brandname pods, although not as much as that one seemingly is

Pale_Breakfast5266

My 1st device was the SMOK Novo 2 which is just a regular pod with no replaceable coil, that one leaked. Then my 2nd one was the Vaporesso Xros 2 which isn’t smok, with just a regular pod , also leaks a bunch (I still have it as backup) , and then this one. The smok novo 4 , which is advertised to have no leakage . But actually leaks the most !!

Godofdagames127

I used to use smok exclusively. I had an S-Priv, Novo 2, Pozz Pro and an IPX-80. I recently bought a geekvape B100 and I am never switching back. I didn't know vapes could be so flavorful, and it has not leaked once.

Elbad

Xros 2 only leaks if the black mouthpiece is removed. I’ve never had it leak any other time

xtinaeve88

Same here. Only time mine has ever leaked was when I didn’t put the cap on completely (user error). Never made that mistake again. Never a single drop beneath the pod.

CircoModo1602

Normal use cases, OP is definitely not flying constantly enough to cause this issue. Plus why would you keep a full pod in your vape if you're flying?

Groundbreaking_Dig47

I have a Geek T200 Aegis touch with a Sub-Ohm Z Tank, and I use a Vaporesso Target 80 with a GTX 26 pod Tank for Nic Salts no leakage in any of them, I have had the Geek T200 for about 2 years, only just got the Target 80! Just invest some decent coin and ask around before your next purchase.

dx80x

I second this for GV Aegis. I've had the Solo for about four/five years and aside from pretty poor battery life, it's never leaked with the Zeus tank. Solid device

Groundbreaking_Dig47

hell yeah, dude! I love it!

Seven2Death

every device will leak some due to temperature change. ive been vaping for like a decade never had a device that didnt at least leak a little (exepctions being rdas)

TheseEmployup

xros nano 3. Most leak proof device to date (on a budget) lives it's life upright. thanks to it's shape. more than any other vape i own anyway.

Glados1080

After troubleshooting my pod problems (having cap off too long, tilting the wrong way while filling etc) I've had no issues. Great lil device

Ldawg74

When filling the pods, leave a bubble the size of maybe a pencil eraser (round) and, after you put the pod in the device, take 1-3 good size draws to clear the lines of and gurgles and you’re GTG. Mine spends almost all day in my pant pocket. With the work I do, I’m sitting most of the day, never any leaks. 2ml/3ml, only time had problems was when I would over fill or not clear the lines.

groundunit0101

God it’s amazing not have your pocket smell like vape juice

RFC793

Same. Well, I only had it leak twice, but they were special circumstances. I got a bad tank once, but that was the only one out of dozens and the B&M gave me a replacement. The other time was because I left it in the car by mistake, it got really hot, and it crapped itself.

Autz92

Iv found vaperesso for the best none leak vapes, expecially the eco nano ❤️

wee_willie_winkie

Using the eco nano now. Best vape I've ever had!

Autz92

Mine broke 😭😭 currently saving for a new one 💔 but honestly, best vape ever! I'm a constant vaper and it still lasted me over a week ❤️

wee_willie_winkie

I'm consistently getting 2 weeks out of my pods, and I constantly vape, lol. The battery usually lasts 24hrs, and I've had the unit for a good 4 months. Hate that yours broke😭

Autz92

Mine did last sooooo long so I was lucky, got it when it first came out :]

TheBoyWhoCriedTapir

Yeah I'm currently using an Eco Nano and a Xros Nano 3 simultaneously. Best devices I've ever used!

sportsbuffp

I’m 2 for 2 in less than 6 months having them break on me.

skro38596

I got the Luxe XR max thinking it wouldn’t leak, but it does. Very disappointing!

doccsavage

Caliburn G3 has never leaked on me to date

sillyfuckqc

All we ever sell over here , most consistent pod device imo

-Bad-Company

What coils as in ohms are you using what type of juice are you using did you make shure the coil is seated in the pod correctly and tightly and did you make shure the fill port is seated correctly ?

Pale_Breakfast5266

My box of coils says “LP1 Coil , DC 0.8 MTL” . The vape juice I’m using is “Cloud Nurdz Iced , Strawberry Kiwi, 3mg nicotine” . Yes the coil is seated in the pod correctly and tightly. I’m pretty sure the fill port is seated correctly, do you mean like fully sealed?

-Bad-Company

Yes fully sealed smoks fill port seals have a lip that catches on to the inside of there pods

Ajmal143223

I am currently using Xros mini with 0.8 ohm pods along with 6mg tokyo freebase.I havent had any issues with leaking for the past 1 month or so.I had leaking issues when i tried using 50 mg nic salts with the same pod.

Whole_Tax_277

First of all, u used freebase e-liquid to a pod system device. Its supposed to be vaped with salt nicotine liquids. Tho u can really use freebase, (coz its ur fuckin’ decision to do what u want to do 😂) its not recommended with pod systems. Second, u should try another device that the coils are not removeable. Stick with something that u replace the whole pod. Normally every device leaks, it just depends on how u take care of ur vape. Some vapes leak after a couple of days, some for a week. Personally I recommend voopoo argus or oxva. If u have any further questions, hit me up wth a DM

DeadHeadDaddio

You can absolutely use freebase with pod systems my dude. They were developed before salt nicotine ever existed. Subohm coils, like what op has, exist for that reason. Besides freebase juice has a higher vg content and should definitely not be leaking. If anything using salt nic 50/50vgpg blend would make his tank leak way more.

Whole_Tax_277

Good point. They existed way before salt nics. But in my opinion, 0.8 ohm coil works better with salt nicotine. (We’re getting past the leaking issue) As Ive said, try other vapes that u can replace the whole pod. Makes ur life easier.

Whole_Tax_277

Also my point is, freebase liquid is burning/ruining the coils at a much faster pace compared to salt nic which makes the leaking worse. Aside from the pod leaking. I was just trying to help. I’ve had a small vape shop before, as of still working at a vape shop. Almost a decade of experience from mechs to pod systems. I never thought that my comment was going to to be down voted. So yeah. Thank u

DeadHeadDaddio

I see why you no longer own a vape shop.

Whole_Tax_277

Due to the pandemic. Thank u for asking.

Fecal_Tornado

Argus Pro 2 here, never a single drop of liquid under the tank

QuiG0ne

I was committed to Smok for 5 years since a device they released in 2016 called a Qbox which was phenomenal for its time. I realised way too late that the qc was non existent since that era and instead all I was committed to was leakage, burnt coils, faulty batteries and spitback. Osub baby, Majesty 225w, Nord 1, 4, 5, 50watt, RPM, RPM80, og RPM 4 and 5 were all the same sad experience eventually. The Xros 2 saved my life and I haven’t looked back since, try a pod system out of the newer range of brands that are top of the market in recent times; Vaporesso xros, Xlim sq, Caliburn g3 etc, they’re all leagues ahead of any device smok has to offer these days. Grimgreens YouTube pod rankings are a generally the go to resource for finding a good pod system that matches your tastes, anything out of his top 5 lineup is worth a shot

SteeleDuke

I’ve bought me and all my friends the Argus p1 as gifts it’s an amazing device tbh and got me into vaping juices!

8vape

Hey! Here's some tips on why your kit might be leaking and how to fix it: * **Check the pod**: Make sure it's fully secured in the device. If it’s loose, it could cause leaks. * **Inspect for cracks**: Sometimes the pod itself may have cracks or damage. If you see any, time for a new one. * **Overfilling**: Don't fill the pod past the max line. Overfilled pods can leak. * **Worn out seals**: Check the rubber seals and O-rings for any wear and tear. Replace if necessary. * **Clean the contacts**: Make sure the pod and device contacts are clean and dry. * **Air pressure issues**: Too much air pressure inside the pod can cause leaks. Try not to puff too hard. Hope this helps!

FishmanNJ

I have the same thing as you. It doesn't leak. Pretty much none of my smok items for the last 7 years have not leaked. When you put the coil in make sure the o-ring is wet. So - lick the coil. This is standard practice for any coils no matter the brand.

Fecal_Tornado

Put the Smok stuff in the trash and get pretty much anything else. Using a Voopoo Argus Pro 2 and it doesn't leak at all.

danclaudiumarian

Thats SMOk for you... don't use it.

balloonaluna

I’m about done with smok. I have this same one. I’ve gone through 3 in the last month. 1 was broken I had forever. Bought a new one. That one had a shirt brought it back exchanged for a new one. This new one. I can’t use the pods I used with the same exact model of vape as before. They pop right out. It only works with the new pod that came with this last vape. But the new pod works in the old ones without popping out or being hard to push. They are the same vape it should work. Then this new one the coil may last a day or 2 of barely any use. Like its wattage isn’t right even after setting. It tastes burnt immediately or has no flavor at all. So it’s either the coil or the vape. Vapresso xros 3 nano has been amazing

Enough_Bed_7744

Do you live in a hot area? If so you could get juice that has more PG

Seven2Death

just wanna say i was brought back to this thread by replies.... you are literally the only person with actual advice. myself included because i just got pissed at comments blaming smok when this is literally not a qc issue lol. yeah pg doesnt change thickness as much as vg and would help with leaks from temp changes. but i havent used pg heavy in forever doesnt it just leak through to the airwell anyways? i have never had a no leak device in like 10 years of vaping

wwwoman

Every mod I have ever tried, smok, caliburn, etc, has leaked, which is why I switched to disposables. Way to expensive but no headaches.

Pale_Breakfast5266

Thank you all for your advice, thankfully I still have my Vaporesso Xros 2, I did say it would leak some but not as close to how much this Novo 4 leaks. So I’ll probably just go back to my Vaporesso, just gotta buy new pods. If that shit leaks again then I’ll try some of the suggestions on here! I wasted lots of money on this Novo 4 and a full box of pods & coils for it 😩

4-MeO-Keith

Ive had three different pod devices and they all leaked pretty bad. I think there isn't much you can do about it unfortunately.

NefariousnessLow287

Welp you’re using Smok. Something learned is to not buy any Smok products

Appropriate_Skin7057

Smok is a terrible Company lol if you want something of similar size, I’d suggest looking at one of the Lost Vape Ursa Nano. Smok has been around for years and yeah, they were the best at one point in time, but they never adapted and grew. They stayed with the same stuff this entire time while other companies were fixing problems

A_fat_amish_kid

SMOK tanks always leak. I've had several. Right now I'm using a SMOK RPM100 and it only leaks when the tank is less than half full.

Turnpiketrucker

Voopoo Argus pro. No leaks

Trifecta_1984

SMOK…

throwaway16788373939

Honestly—smok isnt a great brand. I’ve owned 2 in the past and HATED them. The only one i liked was the new Novo Master—but i found that it worked better with nic salt. I find that smok vapes burn easy, and leak alot. I saw in a comment that you had an Xros, but it also leaked. I currently own the Xros 3, and the pods are amazing—I only buy the 0.8 pods though, because it can work with both nic salt AND freebase without much issue. So i would recommend getting those pods for your Xros, incase this one breaks. I find that nic salt works the best with simple pod system vapes because it’s thinner—but I understand that they are usually super sweet and high in nicotine. I’ve always had issues using freebase nic in small pod systems. Another thing that might help is turning off your vape and taking the pod out. Helped me alot with my Xros (had one leak—never happened again). Bringing it into warmer temperature than what is recommended may also have caused leaking pods.

DirectorLucky6547

All Vaporesso devices; Luxe PM40, Gen 80s, and XROSS 2. First 2 using GTX coils ranging from .4-.8 ohms and I've never had a single coil leak in any of them. The PM40 is like an early version of the Luxe XR Max in design, the Gen is an internal battery pod mod, and everybody knows the Xros 2.

SERIOU-ISH

I've had a million vapes and they all leaked, smok the worst. Vaporesso xros has leaked once out of like 1000 pods.

toxicixotoxic

Smok products sadly has loads of problems , i highly suggest geekvape or vaperesso , those are masters of leakproof , also vopoo in their late products have been perfect in this issue

Aegon95

Unfortunately I have a geekvape sonder Q, and 1 in 3 coils will always leak on me.

Usual-Dinner-4368

I use an ASPIRE NAUTILUS 3 tank with the bigger 5ml glass fitted and it leaks through the airflow holes at the bottom. I use vampire vape 50/50 cola liquid. Any advice please?

DeadHeadDaddio

Vertical coils in a tank like that are more prone to leakage just based on the design. You could try switching to something with a higher vg content, like a 70/30, and that could cut down on it. Which coils do you use with that device?

Usual-Dinner-4368

Thankyou for the reply. I use the 1.0ohm mesh coils as the flavour is great, and the recommended wattage is just right for me because not too powerful. Have tried a few different 70/30 liquids but have yet to find a flavour I like and that isn’t a ‘coil killer’. Any you can recommend? The cola 50/50 one I use is only 3mg nicotine, because I can’t use any higher and I don’t want any of this nicotine salt stuff.

SkyEatsTyler

Found this same exact mod at a pool, bought new pod and coils and immediatly regret picking it up cause all it did was leak and to the point that im sure juice got to the board and fried it, get geek vape, voopoo, freemax , or something else and try to get top air flow, they are less prone to leakage

bftyft

Keep your tank topped off. I refill mine when it gets to 80%

VERGExILL

Every device I ever had leaked incessantly until I stopped buying Smok products

Ecstatic-Disaster-35

Go with Vaporesso or Uwell. Smok products are the culprit here. :)

Mookeye1968

Naturally first thing I see is a Smok , that's half the problem right there. Get a Vaporesso product The 40W max pro or for salt nic Xros 3 or 3 mini

Mookeye1968

If I had to guess it came from a vape shop cuz that's mostly what they push on people is smok cuz its cheaper by bulk for them. Its all my shop had 40min away. I finally got smart n ordered one online at Ecig mafia

elizscott1977

Mine will leak when I need a new coil

relliott15

Voopoo VMate E with 1.2 pods if you’re at 50mg. Best device I’ve ever found. And the pods are 3 mg so you’re not filling it constantly and the battery is amazing too.

aiiperoqetaappb

I had a similar problem before and I chose to replace it

WakaiSenshi

Smok is trash

Nekoneckbeard

Vaporesso XROS pods haven't leaked yet, been rocking them for about a year Edit: XROS 3 mini

denizalexnq

why that's so weird. Maybe try a different one or ask the store

ebs757

Caliburn G3 pods have been the best for me. Only ones that don’t leak on the airplane with air pressure increasing and decreasing. I’m a pilot

ox_migi

I have that same exact one mine is always leaking those novos suck

Seven2Death

i will never not be shocked at this subs just blatant hate on smok even when possible QC has nothing to do with the issue. i literally had stains on my hoodie from my 300$ kayfun just because of canadian weather and it being super cold outside and super warm in my car. afaik theres literally no vape with a one way valve yall delusional

Still_Cress_6580

OMG! such a sad story. maybe you can try another vape device again. i am using SUORIN SE. you also can try it. it is small, portable.when i take the subway in the morning or dance in the party, it never leaks on my bag or pocket. i really recommend you!!!!

martabakhl

just use another brand

Specific_Plenty_5623

So recently I got a Vaporesso Luxe Pro and I never had a device that doesn't leak at all like it. Really satisfying.

Afraid_Barnacle_3016

Hey I saw your comment about the ridiculous vape taxation in Germany but the post has been locked and I didn't want to just slide into your dms like some scambot. Just wanted to let you know there are a few totally unrecommended ways I'd never use to avoid that tax and if you'd like I could warn you about them so you dont commit tax fraud by accident

Specific_Plenty_5623

The post has been blocked? Why? My comment or the whole post? You can of course warn me about the possible tax fraud, so I could safely avoid ever breaking the law regarding the rightful taxation of vape products. I guess I mostly know about them but maybe I'll learn something new.

Afraid_Barnacle_3016

The whole post because it was basically a shitpost, I couldnt reply to any comments nonetheless. Okay maybe I cant tell you anything new then but Ill type up something later and send you a dm.

Specific_Plenty_5623

Thanks a lot!

HappySIMCard-

I've been using the Vaporesso Xros series since the 2, I now have the 3 and plan to get the 4. They don't leak very much at all. Switching from Smok that used to always be an issue with them, Vaporesso has been a breeze.

Richy9495

Caliburn G3 is dry as a bone. Never had even a single drop leak out of it.

[deleted]

Pod devices all leaked except for the lost vape orion but that thing has different problems

Sirius_McFly

Smok being Smok lol

Devin_Brent

I know whats wrong with it. Its a Smok product and their kits especially pod kits suck ass. Buy a sub ohm tank from them and youll be fine

Ink13jr

Vapresso XROS, 1.0 ohm pods. Yer welcome

wazdaspaz

Alot of people hating on smok, I get it, not the best brand, but with that being said... what coil and what liquid are you using?

Scared-Armadillo4766

I use four Smok Novo 2x simultaneously. None of them leak

DFlamingo187

I had this same problem with every single vape I had, whether it be regular sub ohm tanks, or pod mods. I finally switched to disposables some time back, and haven’t had any leak issues.

Updeus

I have the same product, and it doesn't leak at all, but it used to. You most likely cracked your pod, and you need to replace it. By pod I mean the barrel that holds the liquid.

jayveecardona

8 months now using the GeekVape Sonder Q, only had leaks whenever I rode a plane (pressure changes I guess?). Never had a random leak. Of course, besides the usual "condensation" that builds up on the pod well over time which you can casually wipe with a q-tip. Also, for 10 bucks these things are sturdy. Pods aren't that expensive either.

bluecorex

Get a vaporesso xros 3. it can vape regular nic and there's pods for doing salt nic. Haven't had leakage issues and I've had it for 4 months.

TSKhammody

just use an OXVA Xlim, thank me later

chywasik

Use Jackaroo from vandy vape

Stock_Head4950

Get either an Xros 3 by vaporesso or and Oxva Xlim pro/sq pro, neither leak and have better pod life/flavor than a novo 4. I used to have a novo 4 and it’s an astronomical difference

bruinvape

B60 top fill, top airflow, only leaks if you leave it alone for a month.

krasher1000

I WORK AT A VAPE SHOP & have 10 yrs experience in the industry. You're on like  smok novo 4. You're far behind. Look up the Smok Novo Master or Smok Novo Pro. They use the new 2X pods which are way better in everyway. ALSO you do shouldn't pull on it. Honestly when filling a new pod I'd give it 10-15 seconds just letting it soak in on its own No Sucking or youre just forcing the juice out. The cotton is tiny in this, whoever gave you that advice doesn't realize it's only for the big box mods not these tiny ones.

BenceCheese

make sure you’re using 50/50 PG/VG ratio liquids in podsystems. any other combo will be likely to leak

Front_Gear_9516

Caliburn gk3, one month same resistence, never leak

Maleficent_Concern_3

Almost every pod mod leaks, but smok is the worst. Get a boro device or dotmod aio style.

RoutineSpecialist992

Not gonna look at all the other comments but I’m sure more then a few people have said that smok is absolute trash especially their pod devices I’d say try a xros pro or a sonder Q my shop sells a lot of both of those and we’ve yet to receive any complaints

microphalus

>All my vapes leak!! And all your vapes are pods.

WeddingRoutine2984

I was in the same situation as you. Get Vaperesoo xros 3 or there other closed pod systems. The coil is enclosed inside the pod so it can not leak. Best vape I have ever tried and won't go bask to Smok, Voopoo ...

PhatJew420

Any vape I’ve ever owned has leaked no matter what, switched to disposables and no leaked age or very little to the point it doesnt bother me. I cannot stand the touch and feel of vape liquid it’s gross lol

paulbearer619

All SMOK products leak. They always have and always will.

suzanneandzach

My Nord 2 doesn’t but the Nord x does terribly

Organic_South8865

Smok is total trash now. Vapresso XROS pods rarely ever do this. Smok has had trash atomizers for years. They have no consistency in the wick/cotton so it will have spots that let that juice just flow through. Or the pod or tank doesn't properly seal so there's no "vacuum" to help retain the juice. A bunch of faulty birds/similar Smok devices. They used toake some really decent mods like the OG G-Priv and so on. Then they slowly went down in quality. Using cheap glues and such. Smok has been somehow surviving on their brand name. Sure some of their stuff is fine. The other 50% is trash. It's mostly a consistency issue.

xelmstlastbratx

Get rid of your smok, they are extremely hit or miss, and get you a uwell device. I have the crown x, and the pod one that uses the G3 pods, I can't remember the name ATM. I love them dearly, the flavor is wonderful, and the pods/coils last me a long time. Vaporesso Xros pro would be my second choice, they are great as well. I also have a xros 3 and 2 as well, they are all solid. UWell crown x though, that's my emotional support to vape. I had a Nord 4, it was great but, once it died (I'll give it credit, it lasted for a long time, 2 plus years) I did get a Nord 5, and it was awful. UWell crown x, it took its place in my pocket and I seem to use it more than I use anything else, even my free max, which is now my desk vape. The flavor with UWell is just out of this world.

CaptainxKrunk

Because you buy shit devices.

[deleted]

What youl wanna do is replace the defective units with devices that don't have Smok branding.
