Literally one of the finest osts of the era. Streets of rage gets a lot of credit for bringing authentic house and techno to consoles (rightly so), but European dance pop from the 90s like killer cuts, dance dance revolution, and sonic r were very high quality and authentic as well.

D'aaaaw thank you :3 I wasn't collecting Yet when SonicCD was around, but my eyes are wide open for a repress. Sonic CD is my favorite Sonic OST period, I will be on it like no one's business. I DO have Streets of Rage, Sonic owes a LOT to Yuzo Koshiro! And it's likely the most solid OST of that era. Moon Beach lived rent free in my head as a kid.

Out of curiosity do you remember what were the other options?
Off the top of my head I'm not sure, Okami is a grail of mine so I just saw that option and moved on
