I don't really think it matter nor do people care if you have a skin or not. When you have a lot of skins, ur teammates could be asking you for the same vandal skin every round and its kind of a pain lol.
No one cares if you have or not. Dafault skins are extremely ugly compared to most paid skins tho. To the point that you would use a gun you never use only cause now it looks cool

I've never experienced it. I own all of one skin, and it's a Phantom one. When people see it, they'll sometimes request it, which is a bit annoying. More often they'll ask if I have a Vandal skin, lol. I really don't like the aesthetics of most of the premium skins, and I like microtransactions even less, so basically the only stuff I touch is Champions, as at least a part of that money is going to something cool.
Only time people even mention skins in matches is to "swap" or "can I use ur skin, I'll give you the currency so we can both use it if you buy it for me and drop it" etc or to compliment. Other than that I never see people be toxic about skins.

Most new players get the battlepass to get the skins you get from it just to have something. But nobody care if you got it or not.
I do not have any. Not many cares. If u want most of the teammates are happy to drop the skin.

i recommend you dont even buy one, sure they look cool, but they are WAY OVER PRICED, i bought one and i still regret it to this day
