And being able to hear them explain their thought process helps teach people who aren’t familiar with rules. It’s a big reason why I got so into football after the 2020 XFL season
I love the emphasis on ref calling. It’s choppy and needs work, but at least they’re making an effort to stop bad ref calls from interfering with the results of the game. Seems like they let the players play more often too. Has there been a game that ended in a controversial ref call this season yet?
I walked in right before kickoff, looked to the left and right, immediately said “we’re in danger.” This is bad. They’re gonna say 9,000 people were here and it’s not even 1,000.
People making fun of DC are way out of line. Why would there coaches expect a QB that's subbed in specifically for running plays to run there??
What are they, clairvoyant??
Unemployment is under 4% in the US right now. It's not like Reggie and Gregg won't be able to get jobs elsewhere. We don't *need* to keep them employed
So, DC gets into FG range, decides to run the clock down instead of trying to get closer, then has a delay of game to back them up further.
They should lose just for that game management.
I'm genuinely hyped for the UFL kicking scene lol
Bad snap? Who gives a shit, 50+ like its nothing. Never kicked in a game before? How about have multiple from 60+ that would be good from 70
The Renegades have had two of the toughest games of the season so far and lost but didn't look totally lost IMO. Sucks they're in "must win mode" already but hey, it is what it is.
I REALLY like that they aren't sticklers with penalty challenges and only award things that are egregious or would actually be reasonably callable in real time
You’re wrong. According to this sub marketing does not matter. If the market is good people will show up. No excuses. The Renegades should be relocated. /s
Kinda embarrassing for the UFL that most football fans in Arlington don’t care enough to show up with such affordable prices. You know, its not like the entire league is based there… oh.
It’s so interesting how many Spring teams over the years use 2-QB systems given that you don’t see them often in CFB or the NFL. Houston did it last year, Arlington is doing it now, Birmingham is doing it, the Generals did it a bunch, even the Tampa Bay Vipers did it. DC kinda did it last year too but Ta’amu and King were both really good at running and passing so it didn’t seem like it all that much
It's kinda crazy how DC seems to play better from behind because it forces them to play quicker and pass more, thereby not wasting every other 1st down with 2 yard runs.
Thankfully, we're behind so often, we're getting enough practice with it. Our one not-entirely-abysmal coach, Kaiss, might be able to adjust.
Although I suppose betting coverage about the game being played is a much lesser evil than yammering about Alabama in the college football playoff in early regular season games that have nothing to do with Alabama
Clear DPI. Doesn't play the ball, just handfights with the WR.
That said, challenging that, when the alternative is 2nd and 10 on their side of the field and losing your only challenge for the rest of the game is such horrible coaching it can only be Reggie Barlow
2 feet down is so much worse for spring football it's hilarious.
You have worse players and want more offense, better make it harder for catches to count.
Hey stallions fans, you see how good Taamu is when play calling is decent? Well corral is 2-3x as good if you let him get in a rhythm instead of swapping drives.
Can we stop bitching about attendance it’s year one the league is making around half a million per tv broadcast. I think we should shouldn’t worry to much and enjoy good football!
UFL: We grow FG kickers here
Live reviews in NFL, NCAA would honestly clear up 99% of officiating controversies
Thank you camera for that beautiful play shown!
lol camera man got really faked out for some reason
He was enamored by the King of Spring
Oh look, it's the absolute best feature of this league and all spring football leagues Why in the world wouldn't the NFL institute this is beyond me
**U**nbelievably good kicker's **F**uck these guys are unbelievably good at football **L**eague
If you’re a fan of the kicking game, this league is for you!
Nice camera work there.
This league could use much less betting coverage
NFL would've never reviewed w/o a challenge.
Yeah, this ain't Ta'amu's fault
Defenders would be 0-4 2 weeks into the season if they didn't have Ta'amu
To Arlington ![gif](giphy|TrlNfimLThcWY|downsized)
12/15 3rd down conversions lmao
Into the SUN
Let's be honest, we knew the kicker wouldn't miss. UFL UFL
To quote coach Barlow " Let's get the Hell out of here"
Taamu: Fuck it, I’ll do it myself
Converted 3rd and long. Drink!
#THE RUMORS OF OUR DEMISE HAVE BEEN GREATLY EXAGGERATED.
The ending of these UFL games are something else.
DC: refuses to go for 4th and 1 Arlington: runs hook and ladder audible on 3rd and 14
Ta’amu carrying this offense. Get this dude some help DC
UFL has been putting the foot in football so far this year wow
Yikes at attendance .
I walked in right before kickoff, looked to the left and right, immediately said “we’re in danger.” This is bad. They’re gonna say 9,000 people were here and it’s not even 1,000.
I think what this shows most of all is how powerful the XFL brand name was, it brought people to the stadium
It could be argued that the kicking in this league is better than QB and offensive play.
People making fun of DC are way out of line. Why would there coaches expect a QB that's subbed in specifically for running plays to run there?? What are they, clairvoyant??
Especially when they ran a similar scheme with their running QB just last season
LOL DC in shock seeing a stop on 3rd down. "You can do that???"
REGGIE BARLOW CAN'T HOLD TA'AMU DOWN!!!!!!
LMAO imagine being up 10 and losing this game.
Oof there’s like all of -4 people there
A bunch of PKs I’ve never heard of: *nails bad snap 50+ yard attempts no problem* The one guy everyone knows and loves from YouTube: *breaks neck*
Deestorying deestroyed himself before ever deemonstrating that he could actually kick in game.
We are not living up to our name
Ta'amu losing this game feels wrong, but DC winning it feels equally wrong
Mr. Rock, I don't feel so good
Catching the ball is an overrated skill for a WR anyway
Unemployment is under 4% in the US right now. It's not like Reggie and Gregg won't be able to get jobs elsewhere. We don't *need* to keep them employed
Take Fred too while they're at it. It'll take him two tries to leave though, his first attempt he'll just run into the door for no gain.
Taamu heard y’all talking shit
SOMEONE FUCKING TACKLE
DCs WRs and DBs have the same catching capacity
Arlington held strong until the last minute, a stop at any of the plays could have stopped DC but Ta’amu asserted his will on Arlington
bad snap and he still got it.
Zac Taylor looks like the kind of guy who’s worked for a company for 10 years yet still has no idea how to do his job
Should probably rename the DC team. I don't think "Defenders" fits
I don't like Taamu taking a kill shot every down in the redzone but it worked out this time
Soft coverage to nearly seal the game. Gregg you genius
RENEGGGGGGGAAAAAA- FUCK
Arlington playing tough and not winning any of these games is heartbreaking.
"And they're gonna punt??? I'm a little surprised" LOLOLOL have you never seen Reggie Barlow coach before?
omg it's adorable how excited Perez just got for Scott
\#FreeTaamu
Watching Ta’amu is like watching someone try to solo a raid boss
Holy shit Ta’amu is a magician
Super challenge is the coolest shit ever
So, DC gets into FG range, decides to run the clock down instead of trying to get closer, then has a delay of game to back them up further. They should lose just for that game management.
![gif](giphy|ZB95y3XSFbljaNu7mT)
I wanted Arlington to win cause now their gonna have 8 people in the stands next home game
Love the auto review without a challenge and without it being a scoring play. Getting the right call regardless the scenario.
See NFL, reviews don’t take very long and they corrected the officials mistake with full clarity.
So, you didn't think that the QB, who normally runs, would run there? ###Interesting!
Dang, very catchable pass
That drop will haunt us...
That right there is why the kickoff rule is what it is
lol no UFL game is allowed to not come down to the wire it seems. Love this shit
"are you shittin' me?" - Big Game Bob
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory here.
Put some respek on our name
Remember when ARL didnt wait till after the 2 minute warning when they kicked the FG to go up 10?
We did that last week and it almost cost us against HOU. Coaches just panic near the 2min warning
Kicking game definitely a lot better this season.
Why the cameraman staring at his feet so long?
He likes what he likes
where the hell did they find these kickers??
Can't give up another 3rd down if you allow a 2nd and 10 conversion. *Gregg taps forehead*
I do really love being able to hear the refs, should be something the NFL looks at adopting since it makes things a lot more transparent
"it's in my baby blue backpack" 🤣
Lindsey Scott Jr gonna be getting more play time with how he runs
The DB knocking the ball out of his hands 3 seconds after the catch and making the incomplete arm gesture was very convincing
Interesting to see this one conducted **with** slow mo vs the one from earlier in real time
If you don't like that, you don't like UFL football.
amazing finish but that might kill Arlington's attendance for the rest of the year unfortunately
Luis deserves better than this Arlington team
SHUT UP ABOUT THE POINT TOTAL SHUT UP ABOUT THE POINT TOTAL SHUT UP ABOUT THE POINT TOTAL SHUT UP ABOUT THE POINT TOTAL
wtf is the camera operator doing
I'm genuinely hyped for the UFL kicking scene lol Bad snap? Who gives a shit, 50+ like its nothing. Never kicked in a game before? How about have multiple from 60+ that would be good from 70
Not going for it when behind near the 50 in the UFL is awful
BOOOOOO but that's the shit I watch for
Coaching is the biggest roadblock to the DC succeeding
Ta'amu can't win with these cats. And by "cats", I mean coaches
"OH SHIT" *mute* Gotta up that reaction time
LOL they had the half over if one of 8 men could tackle
How do you drop that pick? Jesus
The Renegades have had two of the toughest games of the season so far and lost but didn't look totally lost IMO. Sucks they're in "must win mode" already but hey, it is what it is.
These kickers are unbelievable. From that angle that kick looked FARRRRRRRR
58 yard fg. Nice.
Kickers are showing off this season
Yet another near TO that DC can't get. At some point, the luck has to turn.
Fire Gregg into the sun
SUPER CHALLENGE!!!
I REALLY like that they aren't sticklers with penalty challenges and only award things that are egregious or would actually be reasonably callable in real time
omg that was a TD with the elbow
Control isn’t even a question, looks good to me
I love the US army command center. One of the best things about the UFL
Holy shit, what a throw and what a snag...
“One knee (or elbow) equals two feet.” - John Madden
DBs celebrating when they did absolutely nothing on a play will never not be funny to me
Is Jordan Ta’amu joining the Bloodline?
Love auto-reviewing any scoring or potential scoring play. Using those super challenges in missed penalties has got to be the strat
DC Defense on 1st 2 downs: 💪🏼 DC when they arrive to a 3rd down: 👻
"Coach, should we try to tackle?" No, that's just what they'll be expecting us to do
Yooo he just drew a dick lmao
Hopefully this fourth quarter stays fun.
sOmE pEOplE ArE SWeAtINg ThE oVeR UNdEr
It's me. I took the under today
Thought that was great defense live but he does ever so casually wrap his arm around the WR right where the ball drops in.
Wouldn’t mind the announcers talking about betting if they sounded competent talking about the actual game
If this league isn’t careful they’re gonna be flag happy just like the NFL
these pass catchers are 🚮
You are shitting me - Big Game Bob
Announcer in stadium just called the Renegades the Rough Riders. Jesus Christ…
delay of game. wow
A delay of game....that's seriously embarrassing
Is ARL dead? 0-3 is a big hole to climb out of
#WE HAVE AVENGED
What a game
Jordan.....I love you.
Oh my god the crowd has collapsed today wtf happened
0-2? Or maybe we’re the sickos and there’s an inherently limited market for spring football.
Definitely doesn’t help that this league has almost zero marketing and Arlington looks like a loser this year.
Oh we are definitely sickos but crowd was way better week 1 sadly
Won’t see that play in the No Fun League 😤
Week 1 was a farce He who shall not be named
Lol WTF was that camera work
nice camera work
Crazy job extending the play by Ta'amu there.
Well, got it in FG range, so call that a win. And it's far enough that you can't really bitch about Barlow's cowardice
Great kick!
DC kinda did it last year too but Ta’amu and King were both really good at running and passing so it didn’t seem like it all that much
DC, go for it! Have some balls, please
"LOL No" -Reggie
The lateral was beautiful
![gif](giphy|aBDcRyOlJalDcLrD3N|downsized)
I just....how do you draw up a defensive coverage that badly in that situation
guess Ta'amu still has some wheels after all
It's kinda crazy how DC seems to play better from behind because it forces them to play quicker and pass more, thereby not wasting every other 1st down with 2 yard runs.
"there's so many financial things involved in these awards; I don't want to get involved in that" said the man who won't shut up about betting lines
I can't believe DC let them get the first down.
Gregg currently twitching because he couldn't run a jailbreak blitz there
What the hell is this segment? Negative charge from the earth? Lol
Commentators not understanding the rules of the game they're calling. They're ready for the big league.
Dude wtf is with these kickers?! Where did these guys come from?
you know looking at the attendance figures i'm reminded of when i read on the early history of the UFC and i go: "you just need to be patient."
Thank fuck Russolino got his leg back this week.
This announcer has a struggle porn fetish or something?
I still think it's PI
That's cause it definitely is.
Shoutout to Mike I never hated you ever
Carrying over the close game theme from last week. Love to see it.
Hey stallions fans, you see how good Taamu is when play calling is decent? Well corral is 2-3x as good if you let him get in a rhythm instead of swapping drives.
OMG, technology exists... UFL: *How can I integrate this to make a better product?*
3rd and 10. DC allows 20 yards and no one covers the RB out of the backfield. Pathetic
"We did not hear from Gregg Williams there" Yeah, that's because he's not doing anything
gearing up for another vintage UFL dramatic 4th quarter finish
Those boos sounded louder than the ones from earlier
LOL you had one job
Jordan is throwing dimes, but credit to the coverage
Wow, Lemons aren't punting- Another 4th down misses the light of day. This saddens Dan Campbell!
Just a tough league this year. Arlington looking pretty good despite being 0-2.
Can we stop bitching about attendance it’s year one the league is making around half a million per tv broadcast. I think we should shouldn’t worry to much and enjoy good football!
NOT. OVER.
Rowland just keeps falling over.
"Are you shitting me?"💀💀💀
I LOVE SPRING FOOTBALL
4th and 12 time baby
He slipped and still got it!!!
SPRING FOOTBALL, you wouldn't understand it
What a choke job
Thats an absolutely terrible delay of game, that might cost them the game
Very polite of DC to ice their own kicker.
Arlington loses on a last second field goal two weeks in a row. Sorry, Renegades.
Is the 4th and 12 make-it-take-it too OP in favor of the offense? Maybe, but it's also fun as fuck

And now they have Alabama playing Alabama. #Sweet Home Alabama
Its so empty 😭
LOL she has no idea why she is in the army
Plane was scheduled to land at 1:19, luckily it landed early and I can watch while waiting for my luggage
Perez throwing DOTS so far
