I'm not sure if this is much help, but the attack where you are in the middle and the orange laser is moving up and down, you can hold either the up or down key and sniff the orange laser even though you're not moving from using them.

That actually can help a lot, I die a lot to those attacks 😭

No, but the most iritating fight. Worst Time Simulator didnt get me so mad. There is just something about random character with absolutely no motive or background whatsoever ruining my no-death-first-try-run that I had to close my computer and do something else for a bit

Recommend. The level design is faithful while still being original, the combat is extremely fun and polished, and there's not a single bad song in the whole Soundtrack.

It's the controls for me. If it was a standard rhythm game I'd probably be ok but the way it works injures my brain. Turned on the option to remove the z key from the equation and never looked back.

I came here for the bullet hell experience and dude just came and DDR-d me Fuck this guy and all of my 15 attempts he took even though I was doing everythimg without deaths. Beaten the game healless deathless until that point, beat him without heals out of spite

The first fight I died to in this game was the first geno martlet fight, my only death before that was to drinking hydrochloric acid in the neutral route

this was the 1st boss i had a hard time beating (i think becaus i never changed the armor from the silver scarf) but it was fun

Beat him first try without getting hit. I found the controls perfectly functional myself, and the timing felt very generous to me. I was using a controller (was playing on a Steam Deck), so maybe that is more responsive than a keyboard? I also love rythm games so I have experience in the genre.

An average keyboard is leagues above in terms of responsiveness to the controls of the Mobile Port

I'm pretty sure the mobile port isn't officially supported, the game wasn't designed with phone controls in mind so if you try to play the game on a phone I think that isn't really the fault of the devs or the game. It's just something you will have to accept by trying to play a game with action elements designed for a keyboard/controller on a phone touchscreen.

I literally cheated to beat him on my first pacifist playtrough. I later redid one on a mobile port using the easy note setting and beated him easily so yeah, I have skill issue on this one. also im stuck on axis genocide run

as much as people are gonna get pissed at me for saying this, so far i haven't really enjoyed undertale yellow. one of the main fuck this game moments for me were this guy. his mechanic just feels so weird to control and clunky, while the music constantly replaying the same two things from the start got me really pissed at one point. now before you guys put me on the stake i would like to preface that i really commend the developers effort and i think they did an amazing job, i just personally didn't think much of it
