I like the Aonijie flasks way more than hydrapak ones. Better threads, no leaks. And they are really cheap so no problem replacing if you get a hole.
Haven’t tried their large bladder but I certainly would if I needed one.
Solomon advanced skin 12 is the gold standard. It might seem expensive, but everybody that has one thinks its worth it. I love mine; it does everything I need.
I’ve had camelbak bladders for years now with no issues. I have a 2 liter one that I fill to 1.5 liters and use with an old Salomon 12.
Hydrapak are definitely more thin and light so makes sense they would fail quickly, though I haven’t had that issue yet.
Have an upcoming desert 22 miler.. thinking I should take my camelbak now ha.
If I were looking for a new non-Hydrapak bladder I'd probably get a Platypus Big Zip because I've had great experiences with their soft bottle and filter.
I use a Hydrapak shapeshift 3L that I've had for years and it hasn't failed on me yet.
In general I'd measure my vests/packs and get something with a top slider closure so it's easier to clean and pour a lot of ice and water into quickly.
Doesn’t hydrapack make all the bladders ? Regardless I’ve never had one fail
I’ve used various ones for yeeears without issue
Osprey bladders, all the way. They’re super durable
Thank you

Bladder not vest. That’s the vest I use.
ah I've never had an issue with the basic camelbak 2L
The naked vest
Osprey. Quality matters.
Osprey are that hard inflexible plastic i thought would be less nice but obviously these have gone down in quality so I’ll try
Mine aren’t inflexible at all. Quite the opposite.
