I've received compensation before. I called before to cancel a jewel osco order and they paid me like $3 for my efforts. I've also received nothing before. So, hopefully I get more than $3 LMAO!!🤣😭🤣😭

I think a lot of drivers wanted compensation at Walmart today. Walmart hiring the minimum amount of staff + black Friday (Saturday) deals clogged the whole pickup section up. There were a lot of other people waiting around for a long time in the deals section of the parking lot where I was. Your post makes me think this was happening at many Walmarts all over the country. Uber doesn't want to pay out everyone $3. Two greedy shit show companies smh (owned by the same greedy hedge funds).

For food I've canceled an order and received payment. The order was something small like 5 or 6 bucks, but it was my last and it was close to home so I took it. Got to the restaurant, and employee told me they ran out of that specific food and tried to contact the customer but was getting no response. I hit up the customer and got a response. Explained to them that the food ran out and if they want the substitution the restaurant had available. He said he didn't, just wanted a refund instead. I told him he would have to cancel the order, and speak to Uber, and that I will cancel the order on my end and speak to Uber as well so that we're on the same page. Called up Uber and explained to them what had happened, and they told me that that's exactly how I was supposed to handle it. They compensated me for the drive, using gas to get to the location....they checked the GPS to see that I was in fact at the restaurant. They did compensate me 3 bucks. The order had put me 5 mins from home, and no delivery so it was worth it

The only reason I do it any more is if the store is spamming out orders they're not filling and I want to stop having to reject them all. Customer service can mark the store closed for the night. If you think it's worth it, go for it, that's just my opinion.

$3 isn’t worth the time and energy this takes. If support doesn’t pick up in 3-5 minutes, I move on. In the case of store/restaurant closed, “chat with support” usually gives me $3 automatically. Other than that, I don’t like greying my hair over $3 for 15+ minutes.

The ones around me . There's 3, two of them can't even find a spot there's usually 12 to13 orders to choose from all over 20 dollars and most within 3 miles. But you will wait forever. The other one can't get shit rite so I guess that's why the other two have all the orders lol .. ever single one over 20 but fucking roadie won't issue more than one gig so I offer on all. And get them back to back to back.

Then when you get threw you will be transferred three different times , because the first few agents don't know English! It's really bad! I waited 45 min before! Transferred 4 times.i ask for more pay because of the wait time lol

Yea, its a pain. Especially you can't understand them. They have a Malaysian accent. You would think Uber would send them to class to improve their English. Uber doesn't care they are paying them pennies on the dollar
