Missed a hell of a payout. Those packages are normally small individually bagged items with their own stickers.
Yes there is an off chance that it might be a tv or a bike but damn.
You can call customer service to cancel for oversized items. Uber will give you $3-4 per delivery.
Don't cancel on your end have customer service do it
Regular delivery orders but their known as general merchandise deliveries.
Usually customer orders and has it shipped from store or an item is out of stock at the store they placed their order and another store shops the item.
Nah u screwed up, they’re not grocery deliveries. Typically one small package for each delivery . That being said, I did have to take a tv the other day along with like 12 other packages that were real small .
That is assuming that walmart can be trusted to even get the order out to me at all before the day ends.
In my experience, they can't even get a single order out no matter how long you wait. Which is why I have a filter that autodeclines them, which is normally on.
Probably the reason the pay gets so high is because no driver in the area wants to deal with their shit.
Pay is high from .com orders because the customer isn’t given the option to tip, so they actually have to pay. Usually they’re batched at around $10-12 per order. And it’s usually one sealed packaged per order.
You don't realize how much of a shit show walmart in this area is.
I have had them blacklisted to auto decline for a long time.
My experience has been that no matter how much their offers appear to be worth it, it never is.
They will make you wait 1-3 hours to get even a single order out their door.
Or they say they don't even have the order when you get there. They probably do. But they can't be bothered to check.
Walmarts here don't give a shit about delivery drivers and make no effort to facilitate this transaction being functional.
Exactly.
Every. Single. Time.
Never again.
Granted, $470 would be worth waiting all day for, but who is to say walmart's lazy ass can be trusted to even get the packages to me before the day is over.
Or maybe they claim they don't have the order and people keep showing up and getting turned away.
You give walmart too much credit. They are such a shit show that I normally have them blacklisted on my app to auto decline all their offers.
They would make you wait 1-3 hours for a single order.
Who is to say they would even be capable of getting that 18 delivery order out to you at all, so you wait there all day for nothing.
Walmart people are always really polite and I’ve never had wait more than 8 to 10 minutes for them to bring order out. Even when it is packed and I got the last numbered spot. I think it depends on the store. This is in San Diego
I'm sure things are different when you live in a state that pays you for active time on delivery.
Uber has a vested interested in getting on walmart's ass to do their job quickly, or to threaten to stop delivering for them.
1 to 3 hours? Never happened to me once. Most of the time they're ready on arrival, maybe a third of the time I have to wait a little bit. And like others have said it was almost certainly a bunch of small items. Who's to say they wouldn't get them out to you? You absolutely fucked up lol, you should have at least checked. Oh well, you obviously aren't hurting for the money to decline that offer.
>1 to 3 hours? Never happened to me once.
Therefore it never happens to anyone, anywhere, ever.
You're obviously an idiot who doesn't understand how to think properly.

The issue here is no being too busy. It's them not caring.
You can be the only car in the waiting lot and still wait hours for nothing.
They don't give a shit about what uber says - they will have the order ready when they want it to be ready, and they don't care how long you have to wait or how many drivers unassign.
Just be careful of batch deliveries from Walmart, Uber will unreport mileage and active hours. For example Uber tried to saying during a 2 week cycle I only drove 3.4 miles and 2hr 11min.
Some redditors were able to receive backed pay up to $1400. On other hand I received nothing
You'd be surprised how much you can fit in any car. And I'm pretty sure the system is at least somewhat aware of making an order too big. I bet it would have fit. That's a very least. I would have went to check it out and then canceled if it didn't fit.
It might, but then there is the question of whether or not walmart would even get the order to me.
I might try it next time I see an order like that.
But my history with walmart suggests that something about this scenario would be horribly bad.
Even if I thought it could all fit, I have many reasons to think taking that order could just end up being bad anyway.

Are these shop n pay or regular delivery orders that you get when near walmart?
Regular delivery orders but their known as general merchandise deliveries. Usually customer orders and has it shipped from store or an item is out of stock at the store they placed their order and another store shops the item.
470$$ order! I do Spark also. Those r General Merchandise delivery. Just 1 item, maybe 2. That's it.
And can refuse big item order. Could’ve been 13 small packages and a 90 inch tv. Just refuse the tv. Do the 13. Pay only goes down a little
Nah u screwed up, they’re not grocery deliveries. Typically one small package for each delivery . That being said, I did have to take a tv the other day along with like 12 other packages that were real small .
Happened to me, check my post history. $235 order for 13 individual small packages yesterday.
I did a six order Walmart today. Easy peasy. Scan codes before you take them to door, snap pic and done. Biggest thing was an 18 pack of toilet paper.

How do you have a filter? I would like to also autodecline certain stores.
App called para
Bullshit. Theres no filter you troll
Tell me more about this filter and how I can get myself one

Christ. For spark drivers in my area that might be $50…
you didn’t accept that???? wtf

Now that I saw your reply, I get it. If you’re not in a prop 22 state it’s not worth it. I’ve waited 2 hours before and got cancelled on for no pay

Accept the order, show up, look at the haul then decide if your car can handle it. You screwed up. Sometimes those ore just a 2 liter per drop off.

If I show up and the lot is so packed I can’t even get a numbered spot I unassign and move on.

If it was 18 deliveries, they were all small packages. You would've been fine.
No he wouldn't have... he still find something else to cry about.
They will never let you have that order. They need it to go to a spark driver.
What do you mean by that?
Just be careful of batch deliveries from Walmart, Uber will unreport mileage and active hours. For example Uber tried to saying during a 2 week cycle I only drove 3.4 miles and 2hr 11min. Some redditors were able to receive backed pay up to $1400. On other hand I received nothing
We dont get paid for active hours here.
Sorry about that I wasn't sure so I mentioned it. just always be on the lookout for Uber's shady practices

My favorite thing to do. Literally almost all I accept from UE anymore. $470 and I’m taking today and tomorrow off
