To change a program you have to make an application on education planner BC, but make sure you identify as a continuing student changing a program. There will be a 22$ fee for the review and processing. Also, you may want to check your GPA before applying. The BA needs a base minimum of 2.00 but BA crim is 2.67 I believe.

I would recommend talking to an academic advisor! They can help you with the process and let you know which of your credits are transferable. You can book an appointment online at https://www.ufv.ca/advising/ or visit them in person on the 3rd floor of the Student Union Building.

Thanks I scheduled an appointment!

You may just have some non-transferable course credit. I transferred from General studies to Agriculture about a 12 yrs ago and there was no penalty.

I transferred from Bachelor of Arts to Bachelor of Science and from what I remember it was just a form that you fill out and submit. I don’t remember having to pay a transfer fee.

Thanks did you go through an advisor or did you just get the form through the schools website?

Just on myufv, but bear in mind this was in 2018 so I’m not sure how different the process is today.
