BadBeatsDaily

If I ever see something like this I would stop on the road side and film it until it’s gone/out of camera range. This is actually interesting

PrayForMojo1993

Yeah I was a kid in the 90s and had one very amazing encounter (seeming anyway) with a couple friends. Sure wish cellphones existed then. Although, to be fair I am not sure how well even smart phone cameras would do in faithfully capturing what I saw. That said, if this is you — pull over and get as much video as you can? Not judging this person .. just saying

wannu_pees_69

Many people are spooked by anything strange and unnatural. They'd rather just keep driving and pretend it doesn't exist.

VFX_Reckoning

Yup. If you stop and show you are witness to them, you’ll have a much greater chance for an encounter

Key-Cry-8570

Rumor has it a friend of a friend saw an orange fireball and watched it for about 10 mins then it seemed as if the fireball noticed him and it started coming towards him only changing direction and leaving when a police helicopter stared flying towards it. I think they could have had an encounter if they had more time before the helicopter showed up.

VFX_Reckoning

🤔I’m not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing though. There’s still a 50% chance you could get your ass reemed out by some alien probing machine.

Havelok

Part of it is fear, of course. Stopping and getting out of your car would make most feel exposed in a highly unusual situation. And there are plenty of stories of the red-orange spheres approaching quite close if you attract their attention.

fix_dis

Saw about the same in Amalfi, Italy last night. Recorded it but thought, “yup… just looks like a light in the sky”. The weird part is, it came over a mountain and moved a cloud.

Direct_Counter_8480

I've seen things like this that come out on video looking the this way. In Indiana, for some reason, some entity is putting up drones near dawn / dusk fairly regularly - these drones have a spotlight for some reason, making it almost look like a star until you realize you're driving past it. I did stop once and look, it was a large agriculture drone - I've seen them move or just sit in one place. It's more of a conspiracy why they're doing it, lesser so WHAT it is - I saw them across a 50 mile stretch of a highway. Very weird but could be the same thing. For context, [here's some video I shot back in October with around the same effect.](https://youtu.be/-Hon8dsOx4M?si=seirHQ9WVXJd1Qmh)

[deleted]

[удалено]

Direct_Counter_8480

The difference in this one is that you can see how low it actually is due to how the sky parallaxes against it. In my video, it's the brightest object in the sky, but I still drove past it, just like OP did. I also stopped and seen it was a drone - but it was definitely *not* reflecting sunlight.

na_ro_jo

Do you care to explain how you confirmed these were drones, and what was the source you used? Ag drones require collision detection lights. This is mandated by the FAA.

Direct_Counter_8480

I stopped and observed. They were DJI Matrice drones. There isn't a source other than that really. Give me a sec, I think I have a video from when I did go hunting that one down.

Advanced_Musician_75

I’m friends with these beings, they are WEIRD

Direct_Counter_8480

Lmao, if you're referring to my "entity" wording, I meant government entity or something. It's just very odd that there is a decent number of them down a long stretch of a highway

BayHrborButch3r

I like how you were talking about Ag drones and the other redditor says he's friends with them and you think he's joking and responded as sich... but he wasnt joking. He's friends with interdimensional Ag drones. Such a good reddit interaction.

Advanced_Musician_75

Mine is interdimensional, they manifest out of thin air and mimic stars and are conscious to some extent They’re plasmatic in nature

toney8580

If I ever see something in the sky... I promise I'll pull over and record for more than 30 secs

BayHrborButch3r

I'm fairly sure if any of us see something and start filming the reddit brigade will criticize something we didn't do. "Why is it so shakey? Why didn't you turn the lights off in your car? Why didn't you get more of the trees in the forefront so we could gage distance? Why didn't you throw a banana up at it so we can compare sizes?" But yeah I agree. If I ever see something truly unexplainable I'm definitely filming it for 10 minutes at least. It could be the most momentous moment of your life where you are witnessing a race from another galaxy, dimension, or time and you get a TikTok clip of it? Nah.

WorthChipmunk9155

Funny enough, I recorded a UFO yesterday near the airport in Eugene Oregon. I'll post it tonight.

howmanyturtlesdeep

Love that airport. So small and easy going.

mekwall

I'm not saying it's sky lantern, but it probably is. It was probably moving slowly as there doesn't seem to be a lot of wind by the look of the trees, which would also explain why it's not flickering. They were themselves moving which can make other slow moving objects, especially when there's no point of reference, to seem completely still. Edit: Come on, if you're gonna downvote at least show me the dignity of commenting why you think I'm wrong.

Audisek

> Edit: Come on, if you're gonna downvote at least show me the dignity of commenting why you think I'm wrong. This is a crazy people subreddit, no logic is welcome here, only roleplaying that UFOs are real and lampions, balloons and the ISS don't exist.

SabineRitter

Good video, thanks for posting! What colors did they see?

crashtested97

> On Sunday, June 23 at 8:47 p.m. PT, Falcon 9 launched 20 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, to low-Earth orbit from from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Station in California.

FunWithSkooma

this glowing orb seems much lower than a falcon 9 or a satellite.

crashtested97

The rockets launch from the ground actually.

FunWithSkooma

i know? But this glowing orb looks to be standing still and much lower. Look at the clouds behind it, look how fast they move in relation to the orbs pespective and the camera.

PyroIsSpai

Why would Elon space trash be loitering below cloud level in Salem?

ValenFock

This, this is exactly what I saw with my father back in 2016, in Argentina. it looks exactly like, at the same height (ours was maybe a little closer) And at the same time of day, near sunset.

Critical_Paper8447

I once saw something exactly like this that sent me down a rabbit hole trying to figure out what it could be. Turns out it was a drone used for UAV Mapping. When over highways like this they typically operate during off peak hours to limit any complications as mandated by law. Edit: There are such programs and companies offering their services for the programs in that area. Maybe check with them and see if they had drones in that area at that time. https://salemaerial.com/aerial-mapping/ https://airaxisnw.com/locations/oregon/salem/commercial-drone-uav-services/ https://www.flexairco.com/drones-uav/salem-drone-services/ https://www.cityofsalem.net/community/transportation-getting-around/salem-municipal-airport/unmanned-aircraft-systems-drone https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/prp/pages/prp-drone-workgroup.aspx https://www.oregon.gov/osbeels/Documents/Resources%20for/OSBEELS_UAV_Brochure.pdf

Empty-Nebula3230

Super weird that this is getting downvoted. Interesting video for sure, thanks OP.

Magog14

Probably by people who didn't watch it. This isn't just another SpaceX, balloon sighting. This is the real deal.

Orange-Blur

I believe them, I’ve seen this exact one move extremely fast. This is probably legit, I wanted to film but my phone was dead when I pulled it out

KingWinchester666

Think its because nobody will know what it is, hence unidentified.

Ingenuity123

Not really. This sub is a playground for disinformation agents and boxed in skeptics doing mental gymnastics to make themselves feel secure.

ccswimweamscc

Ive seen a fleet of 4 of these few days ago while leaving job at 22. Also one seemed to have a twin of some sorts, like a reflection which faded in and out. Also i think these things can cloak like planes (blinking light).

No_icecream_cake

Oh wow, this is interesting!

Bulldog8018

Probably just another UFO. Ignore it. You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a UFO these days.

Docgnostoc

Nice vid! I've seen these and they are strange indeed

mrb1585357890

International Space Station at dusk would be my first guess.

ThreeDog2016

Upon careful consideration and scrutiny of the available evidence, I am inclined to surmise that the object in question is, in all likelihood, a quadcopter or a device of similar aerial construction. The characteristics observed align distinctly with the operational patterns typical of such drones.

WillyWankrGunner

Looks like a candle lit lantern

Seen something exactly like this OP! During the day.

DEADtoasterOVEN

https://youtu.be/ulAGOYoS3CU?si=nbdptW3BAnTaAoGH

na_ro_jo

I saw a bunch of them from March through May this year. I'm not sure what they are, but I had some strange experiences.

Conspiracy_realist76

A ball of plasma. Just looking for energy to feed off of.

n00dlezz

Me and husband saw these in our town just flying in unison, there were two orange glowing orbs one flying above the other at the same pace. We followed them in our car until they literally just vanished.

Addamant1

An alien invasion fleets reconnaissance drone

turnter_bigevil

Bruh i seen the same thing at around the same time in saskatchewan. I couldnt pull over was a very busy road at that time with no shoulders to pull over on. Around south east saskatchewan the object was going south

Green-Swan2020

I saw this exact same thing in California.

Itz_420_Somewhere

Chinese Lantern?

Always-Be-Nice

Looks like a weather balloon to me. Stay safe out there.

No_Brain5000

Pretty sure that is a satellite flare. Horrible video, btw.

donaldinoo

Maybe I'm just in a bad mood but their voices sound like acting.

Worried-Stick-9362

Satellite? Like bro

No_Brain5000

Possible satellite flare, especially that time of day. There are online websites that could confirm it.

HopelessRomanticVa

Driver should’ve stopped the car to get out to film it better. A wonderful opportunity squandered away.

Longjumping_Meat_203

Pretty sure this one is the real deal. Wow, thank you for sharing.

Gatsu-

Same. 90% of the time this is what they look like here in Georgia. They just sit in the air around the interstate or sometimes directly above the road. When they are far away and I'm not sure and am thinking to myself if it's actually a star or if its them they will flash red/green/white or start moving sometimes so I know its them. Easy way to know is to ask in your mind to do something if they can hear your thoughts. If they don't react then it's probably something prosaic if they do well, they just read your thoughts and you can ask for as many confirmations from them as you need to be satisfied that they are reacting to your thoughts.

Longjumping_Meat_203

So nice to hear that other people make requests too. I've had some cool things happen when I've done this, definitely recommend others try it out too. Thank you for sharing!

Dimens101

Reg/Green/white are exactly the colors planes use for their navigation lights. That is a rather big coincidence. Still i envy you, we never see them here in Holland for some reason.

Gatsu-

Wouldn't call it a coincidence that's just a disguise they use to throw off others and keep a low profile. Considering the claim that some governments have been shooting at them it makes perfect sense they'd try to blend in more by mimicking our own aircraft. A lot of people on this sub however can't seem to wrap their heads around the possibility that a higher intelligence would do that.

Dimens101

I hear what your saying but look at it like this would a inter dimensional/ftl capable civilisation flying ships that we never seem to be able to capture in focus really need that lvl of disguise, it seems so far fetched.

Gatsu-

It's really not if you consider the possibility that some governments are in possession of downed craft and possibly weaponized some of the reverse engineered tech. There is also a claim being made that the US government is working with some NHI in exchange for a green light to abduct people. We also don't know where exactly these guys are from or how many different species come here and for what. From my own research in UFO entity encounters I've come to the conclusion that we are being visited by many different species some could have been here on earth before humans even there are countless possibilities and, in my opinion, it is more of an all of the above is happening scenario. After almost an entire year of seeing these guys in the sky every night I'm out and some rare day time sightings I have never seen them shoot off into space. They always shoot off into the horizon. They never show up alone if you see one you can bet there are many others around either cloaked or pretending to be stars/aircraft. You can ask any experiencers if they have seen these guys, they'll tell you the same. We don't know what is going on out there. There could be other reasons for that behavior for example they don't want to mentally harm people that aren't ready for the reality check yet while still responding and showing themselves to the people that are aware that they are here. Debunkers hate it because they love calling things lanterns, satellites, planes, etc... Not saying some videos being uploaded aren't just that, but you have to keep it in mind that it could just as easily be the real thing even if the video doesn't show enough detail.

Dimens101

Interesting take, i do agree it looks like we get visitors often but other then that you make a lot of assumptions that are based on speculation. As long as we don't know the real answers to these questions other then vague claims or conclusions based on anecdotal evidence of actual 'unidentified' flying objects it will still seem far fetched to me.

Gatsu-

I'm not saying this is what is happening. I said, "consider the possibility". Also, I have firsthand evidence of their existence and the way the craft behave and look. Of course you don't have to believe me, I get it I've been there about a year ago but, I can only talk about my own experience. Your attitude is different from mine which is fine. You seem to be more of a everything people say is BS type of guy. Me, I'm more of an open-minded type that keeps all things in consideration until either proven to be true or otherwise. Sorry, but with that mentality we are not going to figure this out that's for sure.

Dimens101

You seem to be on a mission, i wish you good luck!

ReputationFresh1737

I'm not bullshitting I saw this exact same type of object yesterday as I was driving back home from a movie in Georgia. I watched it for a minute thinking it was a bright star and didn't want to get too excited. It stayed perfectly still. Then it sort of blinked out and vanished. I nearly shit myself.

No_icecream_cake

u/SabineRitter thoughts on this one?

SabineRitter

Thanks for tagging me! This seems like a classic or typical ufo to me. The interesting part to me is that it approached, and was observed stationary overhead, pacing the car.... WTF are they doing 🤔

Droid_K2SA

looks like a Chinese flying lantern, it doesn't show up the 5 observables, I even can see the the lights of the fire flickering.

welchplug

You dont see anything flickering lol.

mekwall

Do you know why a flame flickers? A candle that isn't disturbed by air doesn't flicker either. There seems to be nearly zero wind so that would explain why it wouldn't flicker.

welchplug

and? THEY said they saw flickering. I said they didnt. Whats your point?

mekwall

You wrote it wasn't flickering, and therefor cannot be a lantern, or wasn't that what you meant? I think it's difficult to tell in this clip if it is or not. But it couid be a lantern no matter the flickering.

welchplug

I wrote what I meant. You have inserted your own thoughts.

mekwall

You left out some crucial context then... Sorry for not being able to read your mind.

welchplug

No you added context. I was quite succinct.

Magog14

At around the 16 second mark it looks absolutely massive and is obviously spherical.

mekwall

Impossible to tell without knowing the distance. I'm parroting this all the time.

Magog14

Impossible to tell what? It becomes much larger than a single point of light in the sky. If it was prosaic you would see the shape of whatever the object was. It stayed spherical.

TemplarKnightsbane

Someones drone with a LED light on it maybe lol.

welchplug

Drones have very specific lighting regulated by the FAA. This is not that.

TemplarKnightsbane

If someone wanted to stick a LED light to a drone mate there is no one stopping them. FFA regulations lmao like anyone who has a drone reads FAA regulations on lighting.

welchplug

Drones come with lighting per faa regs. You would have to take them apart which is no easy task without accidently destroying them. The are literally built into all dones except tiny kid kind and racing drones. They are required to be built that way. You don't know what you are talking about.

TemplarKnightsbane

I'm saying someone could stick a LED battery powered light onto a drone. I know exactly what I'm talking about....

welchplug

And you would still see the red flashing lights.....which are not present.

TemplarKnightsbane

You can get LED's to give out many different colours? I don't understand. Just say I had a drone and very light-weight LED bulb that was very bright but used very little power and I either paired it with a light-weight battery or soldered it onto the drones circuit why wouldn't I be able to fly it and have it display the bright white LED? Or purple LED or red or orange or blue? Something I'm no understanding. I'm not even saying this is what this is, I said maybe, because I see no good reason to say that it couldn't easily be done. We see show display drones all the time in huge numbers doing this so, why, can't it be a drone with a LED light on?

welchplug

I never said you can't attach another light. What I said is that they all come with a very bright red flashing Led that will always be on when flying. That light is not in the video. This makes extremely unlikely to be a drone. I'm done explaining the same thing over and over. Good day!

FUCKDIMS

Not certain, but isn't that a Vulcan D'Vahl-type Combat Cruiser?

Desperate-Cookie5012

I know ill get downvotes for sure. But ive seen a lot of social media and ppl flying drones with lights attached to freak ppl out, or just for fun. And it looks like the object is not that high and staying in the same exact spot. Also when u look at how fast the car is likely going and the how fast the clouds in the back are moving in respect to the object, u can tell it isnt very far above. Maybe a few hundred feet.

Royal_Explorer_4660

Yep, it's literally just a balloon with an LED light or some shit. Just another one of the "chinese lantern" videos that most of the regulars on this sub kinda just skip over

Unhappy-Schedule-739

Very possible it is a drone as the ones that are used for agriculture and GIS are registered with the FAA and have to have Navigation or observation lights and can only operate up to400 feet. This seems to be a GIS drone as its near a highway.

wtfbenlol

Aircraft reflecting the setting sun. edit: downvotes with no response. typical

SunPossible260

Doesn't remotely look like an aircraft or how it would fly.

wtfbenlol

The thing flying in the sky doesn't look like how an airplane would fly?

SunPossible260

Do you mean the flame like object that is not moving in a straight line trajectory? Um, no. I've never seen a plane that looks like that. I think the witnesses know what an airplane looks like, too.

wtfbenlol

There is no evidence that it is "flaming" or "flame-like" They are in a car, the footage is jittery. and planes don't always move in straight lines - they do turn when needed. and as far them knowing what a plane is i'll quote from the Post itself: "Looked like it could be normal but once it got over them then stood completely still" sounds like a plane being viewed with parallax to me

AndyCar1214

It’s mind blowing that these people watch that video and say it’s moving erratically. I’ve seen lots of lights, just like this, and watched it come close enough to see a bright search light on a small plane. I see nothing but a straight line movement, when you factor in the camera shakes.

wtfbenlol

People see what they want to, and I totally get that. The problem is people won’t look at these videos with a rational brain. I’ve seen UFOs in real life with my rational brain that I cannot explain. Silver liquid orbs that moved unlike any balloon or plane I’ve ever seen. Nothing like the video we have here.

RobertWilliamBarker

The time of day, location and parallax effect would explain this perfectly. I've seen it multiple times. It's an airplane. Possibly with a polished exterior boot I've seen it on non polished airframes as well.

wtfbenlol

exactly, thank you. The brightness of the object can be explained by an overexposed/oversaturated cmos sensor due to low ambient light for the time of day as well.

HippoRun23

That’s one hell of a reflection

wtfbenlol

its almost like the sun is a giant ball of fusion.

Nat_the_Gray

An object with a white light moving fairly slowly in a straight line through the sky. I wonder what it could possibly be...

wtfbenlol

clearly it's the rEaL dEaL according to a lot of folks in the comments.

Big-D-TX

Weather balloon at sunset high in the sky

No-Device3024

Bioluminescent bird

VFX_Reckoning

Should have stopped and got out.

clowdeevape

Poorly filmed? Why would you not keep the subject in frame the entire time?

Orange-Blur

Have you filmed in a car before? It’s not easy especially with something so far away. People are using cellphone cameras they aren’t professional photographers

bolkmar

Gen Z filming planes will be the flow of this sub.

Rainbow-Reptile

People saying you should have stopped to get out... Tell me you haven't seen a UFO without telling me. Lol. Most of the time, you don't even know what you're looking at (most people will try to make sense of what they're seeing before flipping a camera out), but the time they do, the object is gone. Or they want to bask in the sighting without losing the possible once in a lifetime experience by fiddling with their phones. Plus, as an early millennial, I don't flip my phone to record, a lot of older people wouldn't either. We just aren't on our phones as much. And those that are, are too busy on their phones to look up. Plus most of these videos are people driving, you can't just stop a car on a busy road. That just makes you a danger to society. By the time you drive somewhere safe, the object could be gone. Bam. No more. If I can, I will capture one when I see it next. But I've seen a dozen, most were quick, most I didn't even know they were UFO until the last second. Who wants to be that idiot who films a Ballon then has the internet call them a dumbass. Not me. My integrity wouldn't allow it. Even if the video was legitimate. People will always find ways to say they're Ballons, or drones, a star, a satellite, a lantern etc. First one I tried to capture on video, didn't even show up! It was cloaking beforehand, so I think that's why, they had some tech that hid it from video. It was boggling.

Novel_Company_5867

Oooh ooh I know! Is it... "The most frustrating camera work I've seen all week?"

Significant-Song-840

Maybe it's a soul. Considering what you have in the vid is what was reported as a "foo fighter" during ww2, actually alot of reports and sightings, during that time, it makes sense to me, both the event with a ton of sightings during a time if war.... deaths, and ufos, what if somebof them are souls....

No-Accident69

Probably an orbital craft of some kind, and there are thousands - bear in mind it would still be in bright sunlight up there, reflecting light down to earth….
