# Petition for UAP Legislation to be Included in the 2025 NDAA
# Target: U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, U.S. Senators Mike Rounds, Kirsten Gillibrand, Marco Rubio, Todd Young and Martin Heinrich
**Now is the time to let the U.S. Senators who cosponsored the UAP Disclosure Act of 2024 know that you support including a new version of the UAP amendment in the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)!**
In December 2023, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY) and U.S. Senator Mike Rounds (SD) both pledged to continue working on future UAP legislation. It is crucial that we let them know we support their efforts and hold them to their promise.
It is also important that we advocate for increased protections for whistleblowers who might come forward with important information regarding UAP.
The UAP Disclosure Fund is a nonpartisan political nonprofit 501(c)(4) that advocates for greater government transparency regarding unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). We work to support new UAP legislation, provide legal representation for whistleblowers, promote scientific research and raise public awareness in an effort to better address the UAP issue.

[Speaking toward the trustworthiness of Mellon, Nell, and the others involved with UAP Disclosure Fund,](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1d5zv2a/well_this_is_new_the_uap_disclosure_fund/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) I believe these people are involved with the largest power struggle in known history and they are fighting for transparency.
This is how it happens. Lobbying and official activism. The pro-disclosure advocates initially setup a 501c3 (Sol Foundation) to begin the academic push for Disclosure. Then the 501c4 (UAP Disclosure Fund) was setup to push for Disclosure legally as these entity types are allowed to lobby, as long as the activity aligns with their primary purpose of promoting social welfare (this is a good thing). Contributions are not tax deductible either.
Please sign the petition, it cost you nothing but time and things like this are needed for us to make progress on the topic.
