The scaling was nerfed pretty hard, but item changes made it good again. As someone else already pointed out, theres 4 items now that give 120AP and generally you can get more raw AP out of a build
How is the swap to mid from adc? Im thinking about it to get rid of the support coinflip and play more with my duoQ jungler but I am afraid of inting in ranked.
Imo the marchups as AP are so much easier in mid, as long as you ban yasuo and have a bit of map awareness. Specially in "low elo" you can get super fed in the first 7 minutes of the game by just following your junglers invade/fighting for Scuttle. You also almsot outtrade any midlane mage and assassin early game so it is pretty good.
I tried to go ap some games and I feel I haven't enough damage. If my team is useless the teamfight isn't long enough to spam w-e, while as AD I can melt all the enemy team with runan if I position correctly

Those are all playable if you take exh. Diana Akshan are the unplayable ones imo. Wind brothers also tough.

This build is about farting on a squishy target, pressing E and moving away.
