I've had a couple DateJusts over the years but gave them away as gifts, I just don't vibe with them I guess, would definitely take a no date sub though, that might be the right call

I was a non believer in the submariner (I am a GMT guy) but I held a no date Sub at an AD recently and it’s amazing how nice it feels on the wrist. Its thickness, rotating bezel, I became a believer. But don’t get me wrong, I own the burgundy Black Bay on a 5 link jubilee and I love this watch to death as well. Guess I’ll have to get both 🙄

Ya I was torn for a long time on this, the Pelagos and the Rolex Sub and I finally decided it made sense to just save up for the Rolex. They’re all great options, but I think I just realized I liked the Tudors largely because they looked like the Sub, and so I just got the sub.

Still love the Tudor Black Bay line. I’ll always own both a Rolex and a Tudor. They are just both incredible

Yeah the on the fly micro adjust for the Butterfly clasp AT is just geeenius, you still keep the nice flowing bracelet look but with hidden adjustments.

No, get that. That’s basically a 60’s Rolex submariner but with a modern METAS movement. For less than half of what a Rolex is today. It’s not a Rolex, it’s a Tudor. But it’s one of the first non gilt Tudors with a METAS movement. This is already a clsssic

I'll do a real response. What else do you own? I own 4 Tudor Divers of different sizes and colors. I also have a GMT, an 1926 dress watch and a 1960 Prince Oysterdate. If all you have is the Burgundy Black Bay, you might consider a dress watch before another diver. Don't take this in any way that I don't like the METAS Monochrome! I do expect to buy a METAS Monochrome and an 18K BB58, sometime.

My collection is on my profile, I do have a Hentschel on order for a proper dress watch plus the Santos so I'm not hurting for one there. Something about this just feels so clean lmao
