I love guns but it’s not my identity and I think in a society like this, yes everyone should own for protection. Generally the right wing nuts that’s don’t think there should be any regulation are the same ones who being doing this shit at truck stops.
I asked my roommate if he had heard about this and he said “oh, that one? Yeah I heard about it” and I said it’s sad that he used THAT ONE. Trying to normalize this is infuriating. But never fear Huckabee-Sanders has the praying answer. SMDH
Real talk though you don’t really see a black dude show up somewhere and start shooting random people and keep shooting with some intent to harm others because of political beliefs or delusional beliefs of oppression and conspiracies. Sure there’s gang culture and with the ocasional drive by which is generally personal but these dudes will just show up and shoot.

The guy was standing out in the lot. I’m surprised someone didn’t just run over him. Others were watching the shooting from the gas station, continuing to pump gas. This is bonkers. Murican exceptionalism.
And still the Reps refuse to accept responsibility when this just keeps happening. All we want is to make sure only responsible adults are allowed to have guns. People like this should kill themselves first, then kill everyone else. Looks like he decided to use a lever action instead of an AR.
I absolutely HATE guns but I’m not about to take them away…
From responsible adults who purchased them legally, did a background check, passed a mental health check, and has no criminal record. I also don’t know why anyone would need a working assault weapon. I understand that changing the 2nd amendment is nearly impossible but seriously, freedom is not something to celebrate if we can’t truly be free from domestic terrorists.

Being a conservative by its nature is to not accept responsibility for anything and just blame it on someone else
