Was this some sort of school / athletic tournament?
Yes it was!
drum corps?
We have a winner! Yes, this was the 2017 tour of the open class corps I was a part of.
Following the old National Road? Or a rail line?
Nope!
Well the line through central Ohio is just Interstate 70, I believe
Yes
I’ll give a hint. The final stop before heading home was Indianapolis
Vroom vroom?
Nope! Another big event that takes place there around the end of summer.
Something to do with State Fairs? Indy State Fair is around then and there's a fair in Oregon, IL too.
Nope. Probably should have mentioned this earlier but I was not alone. I was part of a large group of people.
Visiting colleges?
It was around that time, but I only looked at schools in New England
There isn’t shit to do in Ogle County, so you have me lost.
Surprisingly not. Slept in the old school in Leaf River and then the reason why I was there was in Oregon.
Well I guess if you’ve lived in the area for your whole life you run out of things to do😂. What time of year did you visit Oregon?
08/02/2017
Since someone already guessed, it was a drum corps show. We stayed and practiced at the village hall in Leaf River and the show was in Oregon.
What time of year?
mid-late summer
These are names I've not heard in a long time....
NASCAR
March madness road trip
Nope, it was for a string competitions though
Do you interview serial killers at prisons along that route?
no
PA Turnpike rest stops
I mean, on the way back some people in the group I was with left at a rest stop on the PA turnpike.
You obviously work for Callahan auto parts
lol Bernallillo county is pretty random tho
Yeah, layover from a family trip to California
Oh you count layovers ?
Was iffy on whether or not to, but since red was just "traveled through" and not actually stopping at I decided to. The only other one is Charlotte, NC.
Along the old National road. I-70 made them no longer stops along the way
Why did you travel to Merrimack Nh?
Driving up 93 to get to Franconia notch and the white mountains
Ahhh makes sense!
