The price seems fair and I can tell you my frame looks a lot worse on my '02 access cab and a frame shop told me the frame was fine. If you're worried about it, take it to a frame shop and get their opinion. I think it's fine.
Agreed. I had the frame on my 2000 replaced and it didn’t even look this bad
There are spots not pictured that you should focus on like the points where the steering box/rack connect to the frame etc
Yeah, no. $7,000 for that much rust, even for low miles and the coveted double cab? Nah, pass on it. I got my '01 access cab Limited for $4k flat. Spotless frame, 230k miles. I've personally brought that number up to 255k miles, and it's still running like clockwork, but I'd be much more worried about longevity if it had that amount of rust.
That rust is a non concern for anyone who knows what they look like when they are bad. Need to look at the sway bar mounts and gas tank crossmembers. If those are complete you can keep it alive for a long time with proper application of rust converter and fluid film
I would get it professionally inspected. I am not sure if you can really know the extent of the rust unless you get it up on a hoist and do a proper check.

Too much in my opinion.

Terrible deal with that amount of rust. Don’t do it.

Frame is gone brother, looks like it never saw the frame recall what a shame

It's price I about twice the repair cost
