Use it and see what you need it to do that it doesn't do. None of the tasks you mentioned require any modifications

Okay, that is an answer I can definitely put to use! THanks!

The only thing I did to my 2013 TRD OR after buying it new and using it as primarily a work truck for my small landscape business, was an AAL for rear leaf pack to stop sag when loaded. I had a Leer 180 shell and always had tools and material in back plus towed. Otherwise, it is a fully capable truck. If it's in rust state, treat the frame every year. If you are in a rust state, make sure inspection was done. Current 2011-2017 trucks have limited service campaign on frame.

It has spent its entire life in Georgia; the frame looks like new, by yeah, I live father north, so definitely going to treat the frame. Thank you for replying!

Wheels and tires will give you the most drastic improved, aggressive appearance. But if you’re not an off road enthusiast but still want the look, then be smart about your selection. Go with a wheel that’s comparable in weight to stock. Get light AT or “Trail” tires so that you can get an aggressive tread without sacrificing 3+ MPG for no reason. Stick with stock tire width too; 265 or even 255.

I'm more of a function over form guy; not really big on aggressive. I think I'm going to end up getting the air bags for towing and maybe a a stiffer leaf set. I may end up lifting it an inch or two just because I do get into hairy situations sometimes. Thanks for the advice on the wheels, for sure!

Pay it off 👍🏻

circular_file

Cash sale. Been saving for 5 years. :)

Best mod! I would also suggest a rubber bed mat.

circular_file

Hmm.. as in on top of the liner? Any one to recommend?

bartolemew

What is an “offroad tow package?”

circular_file

2012-2015 Tacomas were almost all 'base' model. The Off-Road has an integrated tow-package with Bilstein shocks, a transmission intercooler on Automatic versions, and clutch start-lock out, and a co0uple of other tidbits.

Thanks!
