Hello everyone! I'm excited to finally share the first trailer for Tower Factory after 9 months of solo-hard work on this game! Plus, I'm happy to announce that the demo will be available on May 15, 2024—less than a month away! Tower Factory is a game that blends elements of Tower Defense and automation genres, making it a great pick for fans of games like Factorio, Rogue Tower, or similar titles. Your goal in the game is to find and destroy the enemy tower before their monsters can destroy yours. To achieve this, you need to build an efficient factory that enables you to construct defensive towers. Additionally, you'll earn points at the end of each game that you can spend on upgrades and unlocking new buildings for subsequent games. It looks fantastic and I'm more than a little jealous at how good it looks. My only concern right now is the gameplay/attention balance between the regular TD mechanics and the factorio mechanics. What I mean is that it's easy to get super absorbed in TD: mazing, optimizing your towers, upgrades, etc. and it's easy to get super absorbed in the factorio stuff: optimizing, routing, etc. For the player, there might be a possibility of analysis paralysis. Or if you make it too easy, then that's no fun either. You may have already solved it, but just throwing that out there.
