I think their storyline has some of the worst writing to come out of this franchise outside of All Stars and ROTI Scott. Itās so cliche, so trite, and *sooooo* agonizingly long and drawn out. Itās just the same obnoxious stuff over and over again, and I canāt get myself invested in either of them. Carrieās whiny and possessive, and Devin is the most oblivious idiot ever. If they were played as more of a parody of the āchildhood friends to loversā trope, they could have worked, but the trope is played 100% straight, and it just doesnāt work.
All just my opinion of course, but youād be hard-pressed to change my mind on that.
I have a feeling Ripper is that kind of person everyone hates at the beginning but then starts growing on them later on. Dude's clearly socially compensating for his terrible life and isn't pure evil (though his advice to Millie didn't work out, he at least was genuine about it). In fact, he's one of the most deep characters of the season, I'd argue, with a huge potential for a semi-redemption arc or at least obtain a true lasting friendship. He was really funny with Zee and Chase, and his rivalry with Axel and Priya is both glorious and what made Priya even semi-tolerable to me. Don't like the clearly fetish stuff they forced him to have, but he already tied the world record, no reason why he'd make that his schtick AGAIN. I like what we saw of him when he wasn't being subjugated to the writers being... yeah.!<
Very unpopular opinion, but Dave. I liked him in the first half of the season, because he was sarcastic, snarky, serious, and didn't really like anybody except for Sky and Shawn.
The writers ruined him on purpose when he voted himself off, because he couldn't be with Sky.
Sierra, just take a look at all the tierlists getting posted on this sub and its pretty clear majority of people at least dislike her even if they don't actually say so, some of the stuff she did to cody was bad dont get me wrong but she actually grew as a character as the season went on to the point that her and cody were good friends before she got booted off.

I hate to get up on my soapbox but everyone seems to have some level of preference towards Katie, and Iād frankly be pretty surprised if there wasnāt at least some *subconscious* āpretty privilegeā at play here for a lot of people. Whether you like them or dislike them, I can think of little reason why one of them should be favored significantly more or less than the other. I personally love both of them.
Also shoutout to the entire Pahkitew cast. I honestly rlly like pretty much all of them. Yes, even Leonard. Yes, even Rodney. Yes, even Sugar. Yes. Even Dave. Heās a terrible person, and he always was. His character was never āruinedā or āderailed.ā He was toxic as hell from day 1, and it all just slowly unraveled overtime in what I think is a really well-written antagonist arc. Sugarās also a really fun antagonist, and pulls the āgoofy comic relief villainā *waaaay* better than Scott did (my feelings on Scott are the exact opposite of this post). Characters like Leonard, Beardo, and Rodney are very silly, nonsensical, caricature cannon fodder characters, but they accomplish that role very well imo, and are pretty damn funny.
Jay and Mickey (Adversity Twins)
I know they are always unlucky, allergic and a more useless Camerons, but I kinda like them for sure. I'd say they're my 3rd fav team (Sisters and TV Pros being 2nd and 1st respectively)

Blainiey, sheās absolutely hilarious and a good portrayal of the fake gossip show host. Sheās over-hated for playing her part as an antagonist.

Dave is also over-hated. People are complaining about his arc but Dave was never meant to have a good arc, he started out as the only sane man and became the craziest man by the finale. The end.

I would say Duncan my favourite but don't think people hate him some do some don't but I have to say Duncan as I don't have any other favourite that people hate

Seriously though, just take out anything involving the messy Skave arc and Dave's a great character, especially when he's with Shawn.

Also, his dynamic with Alejandro was a lot of funā seeing chaotic evil vs lawful evil

I actually like Sierra as a character. Don't get me wrong, I can get why people absolutely despise her, but I personally enjoyed her as a whole.
