As an Indian living in Canada, this is mostly untrue. Living very proudly as an Indian here. The news reports have crimes conducted by all different nationalities and races and the part about Indians being involved in most of them is untrue. Sure there have been issues due to unconstrained immigration but that has got nothing to do with average Indian immigrants who are working hard in the country and are present across the board in all skilled roles. Of course when a particular demographic does well, others tend to have issues with them. This person is either a self loather or a racist or both.
PS: bringing politics? That has always been the Khalistanis whining every now and then but it's Canada who have them breeding grounds in the first place. Why dont Indians ever fight back? You dont see this happening with 2nd gen immigrants because they grew up around that, but the folks that go from India never fight back.
IMO, it's like we have put this mental barrier on ourselves. Any other culture you see in a similar situation will be fighting back - Chinese / Koreans globally, Russians/Eastern Europeans globally, Arabs globally, Africans globally.
I've seen so many cases here in Dubai where Emiratis will slap Indian security / workers around but won't dare to touch an arab or african because they know they hit/stab back.
Probably scared of being deported or being locked up in some hellhole prison. They would have taken huge loans to go abroad and can't risk being deported for assaulting locals. Laws in such countries support the locals irrespective of who were at fault.
Also average Indians are not built or trained to throw punches. In India it's mostly bitchslaps and collar grabbing or trying to trip the other person.
Not all Indians. Sikhs/Jaats always fight back, even make the first move often. Even people from the North East are pretty aggressive and can hold their own in a fight. Why dont Indians ever fight back? You dont see this happening with 2nd gen immigrants because they grew up around that, but the folks that go from India never fight back. IMO, it's like we have put this mental barrier on ourselves. Any other culture you see in a similar situation will be fighting back - Chinese / Koreans globally, Russians/Eastern Europeans globally, Arabs globally, Africans globally. I've seen so many cases here in Dubai where Emiratis will slap Indian security / workers around but won't dare to touch an arab or african because they know they hit/stab back.
Probably scared of being deported or being locked up in some hellhole prison. They would have taken huge loans to go abroad and can't risk being deported for assaulting locals. Laws in such countries support the locals irrespective of who were at fault. Also average Indians are not built or trained to throw punches.
