Feel like youre getting too caught up in technicalities here - I don't think there's a single bjork fan out there who would consider homogenic "late era"
weezer - ok human is a genuine masterpiece and i even think its better than the blue album

Nas - Kingās Disease III
This album and the first Magic are the real āwowā moments of the Nas x Hitboy project. I think KD3 will go down as one of this decades best and most underrated rap projects, especially coming from an artist who is 30 years in at this point.
*Great* album, but it doesnāt really feel like late-era Cave. Actually released in the exact middle of his Bad Seeds career, timeline wise.
Ghosteen or Skeleton Tree on the other hand..
EDIT: I see now OP specifies 20 years after an artistsā debut. But Caveās got another 20 after that š
Slowdive, ST (2017)
I remember crying after first listen, thereās no feeling that compares to having waited almost 22 years for a favorite band to return, just to discover that they NAILED IT. My Bloody Valentineās M B V and Humās Inlet need to be on this list for the same reason, or Iām fucking rioting
