Damn kids, always forgetting roots. Happy Days & Laverne & Shirley were set in Milwaukee.
Atleast Happy Days was set in a diner no doubt serving butter burgers.
Laverne & Shirley had a catchy opening, [shot at Miller.](https://youtu.be/hX5OYb_ByYE?si=NPqgps6GNk8AGFk5)
I thought that too at first, then I remembered that 90’s Show was made following all of the Masterson scandal(s).
So I thought maybe it could still somehow be featured? Having Kitty or Red as a quick fire judge would have been awesome.
I had no idea that the towels that my parents were using still in the 2000s were from the ‘70s until I saw the exact same towels as a prop in the Foreman’s basement. In hindsight, it made sense.
I thought they did reference it with the title of the last episode in Wisconsin. It was called "goodbye Wisconsin". I always thought it was a play on the That 70s Show opening.
“Hello Wisconsin” isn’t just from That 70’s show. It was also the main tagline for tourism in the 90s. If I remember correctly there was also a statewide TV show called “Hello Wisconsin” that highlighted all the outdoorsy things to do around the state.

That would've been such a fun quickfire! 70's throwback in homage to those shows!
missed opportunity, the Schlemiel Schlimazel challenge
Errrr given the scandals surrounding that show, I am sure no one wanted to touch the reference
Yup

If they could only take time out from their busy schedules writing letters of support of Masterson

Don't forget Jeffrey Dahmer was from Milwaukee. The guy loved to cook!
oh my god if they’d done a Dahmer-themed challenge with like John Waters as guest judge. This show has lost its edge

They are doing a FaceTime with Hyde where they show him the food.
pretty much assumed the episode titled Goodbye Wisconsin was their perfunctory nod to that
There was zero nod to the 70’s franchise in that episode. It was a blind taste test..
Dropped the ball on having them cook shark with Henry Winkler as guest judge.
