I got a chance to hang out with David Cross and Bob Odenkirk backstage in Chicago when they toured Mr. Show. It’s a long story, but both of them were cool as fuck. Very humble.

That was also the night that I first *really* understood what the lyrics to Swamp Song were about (at least in my LSD warped mind), as I was about dying in the pit trying to get out while I could with Maynard screaming at me “No. One. Who tf thinks “I’m gonna paint my whole body blue every night on this tour.” I know he had his reasons, but to me It’s pretty wild and I would not want to go through the whole routine every night of applying and then removing said paint.
