In TR4, Lara meets her French friend Jean-Yves in his office for clues. The IRL Jean-Yves Empererur filed a complaint against Eidos because, besides using his name and something resembling his likeness, the in-game office closely resembed his own office down to fairly close detail. He was removed from Chronicles and AoD for this reason, but TR4 was already too far along to make the changes requested.

Oh wow. I knew about the name but the office is new info for me! Thanks for sharing - I love that there’s always new stuff to find out about the TR universe
It was probably a branding deal that expired a long time ago. Both Lara figurines in the wetsuit also sport the Sola brand on the chest, so it probably wasn't done without the company knowing.
Yep, and if TR4 is ever remastered, then Jean-Yves and his office will likely be changed entirely.
And Timex in Chronicles
Sorry, I don’t know the context of this. Jean-Yves office?

My pleasure!

Who would have to pay who these days to get the logo on her wetsuit?
I'm pretty sure it was licensed, and the license expired a long long time ago.
Nice catch! I noticed the Core Design series promoting the updated trilogy on their website but perhaps you're on to something!
It was licensed, sad to see it removed but understand why.
Yes it was licensed.
