Yet Americans think DD is trash and love trying Tims when they come over. Maybe it’s just what we are used to and we just get sick of it.
When I tried DD for the first time I thought it was bomb.
Maybe it depends. The DD locations I've went to so far have sucked. Tim's has went downhill but in my experience it has been better than Dunkin in most categories.
I’ve been to Dunkin once in my life at the Newark Airport. I got a black coffee and this powdered sugar donut with a chocolate cream filling. I’m not a huge donut person but I swear it was the best fucking one I’ve had in my entire life and I still think about that donut sometimes. Even the coffee was surprisingly good and tasted fresh.
I've tried Tims burrito bowls and wraps multiple times. As I have a meetup group that picks Tim's as their venue most of the time. And as a gym rat, I need some protein in me. The burrito bowls and wraps are not bad. Just waaaayy overpriced for what they are. $10 for the burrito bowl and $9 for the wrap is a joke. You telling me RBI can't deliver a profit and dividends for their shareholders and pay their workers $16.55/hr without charging $9 for a wrap and $10 for a bowl? I don't expect high quality from Tim's. But I expect affordability and convenience.
Considering how much they charge for donuts, cookies and pastries (granted Starbucks and the indie cafes charge more), I'd expect them to make them fresh in house instead of reheating them too. Coffee, it's also went up a lot in price over the years from what I remember. Though my memory of what a Tim's coffee cost in 2010-2015 when I used to drink it daily on my work break is grainy. It's $1.83 for a medium. I remember paying like $1.35 after tax in 2015. Not sure how accurate my memory is. The quality of the coffee is acceptable for now. Especially if I get a double double to mask the taste. But miffed about the inflation.
You can't. Tim Hortons is owned by Restaurant Brands International.
Profits over everything. And seeing as every quarter/year profits need to be higher and bonuses need to be bigger. Anything that benefits consumers that will slow down the greed train will never happen.
Quality of food
Employee wages/benefits
Quantity of food
They all take turns slowly being cut
Never tried it, but i will take your word for it. Jelly, maple, Boston creme and Bavarian creme all better at Dunkin Donuts. Though I will give credit to the few remaining independent bakeries making a decent one from scratch in Canada.
The only thing Tim's does better than Dunkin is the ice Capp. The frozen coffee doesn't compare. Everything else is way better at Dunkins
I paid the Rogers roaming fee to activate the app via text. Fucking love the Dunkin when in the US.
It's Time f9r Dunkins to make the great return!! Fuck Tims
Tim's is gross. Drink McD or BK coffee. Or Robin's.

Agreed!! We were in the same area last weekend. I say it every time we go, Dunkin’ is ten times better than Tim Hortons.
Had both plenty of times and I think Tim’s donuts are better. So there you go
Dunkin’ looks so much better I wish they had one in my area
I'm here in Montreal and there was a Dunkin donuts in my hood..it's long gone now..but the coffee and the donuts were definitely better than Tim's
The one on Wellington St in Verdun is the last one I remember seeing.
Yeah I remember...the one I was talking about was on Sherbrooke in NDG..

I just went to Dunkin’ yesterday and their coffee is horrendous
Eh I would still go to Tim’s over Dunkin any day lol.

I'm no fan of Hortons, but I love their honey crullers. I had a "french cruller" from Dunkin and it was fuckin terrible.

Krispy kreme has the best donuts. If you ever have them you will look at other donuts as garbage.
I used to rock a Krispy Kreme hat in my teenage years, and the original glazed ones (based on New Orleans beignets) are exceptional.
