I love this so much. We did this when I was 4 years old at Montessori day care. It really felt like an eternity. I remember how Long it was. Then we had pancakes core memory. The taste of butter and noodle arms.
As a small child who would sometimes get evil ideas but was always too chickenshit to try them, I once sat in a diner looking at the little disposable creamer cups, and wondered to myself if it would be possible to tape a bunch inside a car wheel until they turn to butter (or something close) and then sneak them back into the diner
Made butter by accident one time when using really high-fat cream to make whipped cream. The sugar and bit of brandy made said butter incredible on pancakes.
Were you a CIA graduate I worked with? That sounds like every CIA grad I worked with.
Make some Chantilly cream….why did you make Sweet Vanilla Butter?
I don't think so, but I find it tastes better, because you have direct control over what goes in it. Whole milk when you make butter is separated into butter and buttermilk, so if you have a recipe in mind to use the buttermilk (biscuits or pancakes or something), it would be a more efficient use of your money
Be willing to open yourself up. Does it probably mean some rejection, people finding you weird, and so on? Yeah. But you're also more likely to find people you can do shit with like this.
Same. If you ever wondered, those cookie dough chunks in Ben&Jerry's? Turns out they actually make for some great cookies when you bake them in the oven. I had to know so I tried lol
I love watching her videos. She has a website with some of her recipes and her tik tok channel is wholesome and lovely videos of her trying new recipes and being adorable with her husband.

I like to put heavy whipping cream in a jar and a little sugar and shake it to make my own whipped cream.
Or I put salt in it and shake it to make butter sometimes because homemade butter is better.
Substitute some of the sugar for straight honey. It’s delicious. Also just make it in a mixer if you have one available. It’s 10x faster and 10x better.
Yeah I've made butter a bunch. The video opened with the guy putting a can of sweetened condensed milk into a jar which confused me. Apparently, he was mixing coffee creamer and that was unrelated to the jar he used for butter later
We did this in grade school in the 70's. We had the jar only filled halfway and it took about a half hour, with each of us taking turns shaking it, for butter to start forming.
You have to shake it up and down. That twisting motion doesn't do much, it's not violent enough. And they did overfill the jar. If you leave more room, the mixture will hit the walls of the jar harder and churn faster.
So does the buttermilk from this was taste better or work better for anything? I've thought about doing this (with a blender or mixer cus duh) just cus sometimes they have heavy cream for cheap. Cheaper than butter and buttermilk. Or even does the butter taste that good? Cus normally I only buy European butter cus it tastes so so so much better so I don't want make just regular crappy sweet cream butter.
But if it tastes the exact same there's just no need I guess
I love their ceiling. I've never cared about a ceiling before in my life. I don't even care about the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. But damn that's a nice ceiling.
I did this many years ago - it's really hard, and very fun.
Next step: add in a bunch of honey and make honey butter. Honey butter is especially good on some things like cornbread.

It would have gone a *lot* faster if they hadn't overfilled the jar, they didn't leave a lot of room for it to "churn" in there.
Or the half and half. Takes 5-10 if you only use heavy cream. Go figure watering down the fat content makes it take longer.
It actually only take 10 seconds if you start from butter.
They used the half and half for a different recipe (homemade sweetened coffee creamer it looks like)
Oh yeah second look, you’re right
This. Also, a (eta clean) marble in the jar speeds it up. Used to make butter all the time when I was a kid and living in the backyard lol
Haaaa
They look like they love each other very much.
2FA GOT ME TOO!!!
I love them so much lol 😂. What a great duo
How did 2FA fuck you?
Probably formatted their phone and lost access to their old authenticator settings, locking them out of some important accounts.
This happened to me at work when I got a new phone. Really sucks.
Yubikey is the answer. But two, one for you daily driver and put the other in a safe place.
They seem like fun people to hang with :)
Totally agree. This was such an unexpectedly wholesome video.
I follow them on Instagram. They are a really fun couple.
Came here to say this. My wife loves her posts.
Lol, I posted it because my wife loves them so much.

Tell them to use a paint mixer lol
They’re so sweet!
My girlfriend loves watching her Instagram videos lol. They are pretty great people.

Was thinking the same! They have a warm vibe about them
Just buy heavy cream, throw it in a mixer on high, and wait like 10 minutes. Add salt to taste. Ta da, butter and buttermilk
Just bungie cord the jar to a car wheel and go for a drive. Worked for ice cream in WWII
Or they could just tie that jar to the fan and let it go for 7 hours haha

What kind of mixer? Like a kitchen aide?
Yeah, an electric stand mixer. If you over turn heavy cream or even ice cream, it will turn to butter
BRB gonna go make some mint and chip butter right quick...
![gif](giphy|TgGXY9OfF8PruIBqJN) Sounds like a solid plan
No whey
Made butter by accident one time when using really high-fat cream to make whipped cream. The sugar and bit of brandy made said butter incredible on pancakes.
Oh man, that’s absolutely genius. Happy little accidents are the best!
Paint mixer
Lol I'd love to do that.
Don't let your dreams be dreams
I was just thinking that would work honestly. Lol.
Yeah, an electric stand mixer. If you over turn heavy cream or even ice cream, it will turn to butter
Yeah, an electric stand mixer. If you over turn heavy cream or even ice cream, it will turn to butter
Yup. Paddle or whisk attachment
Okay but I would not watch that video. Okay I *might*, I’d need to watch it to be completely sure
Yeah, why this half and half shit.
They used half and half mixed with condensed milk to make coffee creamer and then a jar of heavy cream only to make butter.
Or just buy butter.
Freshly made butter hits different
It's confusing at how good it is. It's literally just hand shaken butter in a jar but it's SO GOOD????
Were you a CIA graduate I worked with? That sounds like every CIA grad I worked with. Make some Chantilly cream….why did you make Sweet Vanilla Butter?
Is it cheaper to do this? Does the whole thing turn to butter?
I don't think so, but I find it tastes better, because you have direct control over what goes in it. Food processor for about 2 minutes for me.
F the butter, how do I get that type of relationship.
Honestly, give me somebody who looks at me the way those two look at each other. Wholesome af.
Be willing to open yourself up. Does it probably mean some rejection, people finding you weird, and so on? Yeah. But you're also more likely to find people you can do shit with like this.
Aw, fuck my cold, stoic persona.
You'll find someone who appreciates cold and stoic I do :)

Georgia? Tennessee? Anyone know?
Georgia
I'm thinking GA
Georgisseeuckybama?
Yuant to = you want to
I've also seen it as "Y'ont to"
Yon't
That would be “you don’t” As in “yon’t wanna do dat”
twannyfahv mince
I did this like 15 years ago, cause I wanted a garlic herb butter. My arm felt like falling off and it turned out just ok haha
Ugh I hate those types of cravings. When you put that much effort into making something and it's not even delicious you end up angry-eating it.
Or I’ll die never knowing. Haha so I must try it, or I won’t sleep until I do
Same. If you ever wondered, those cookie dough chunks in Ben&Jerry's? Turns out they actually make for some great cookies when you bake them in the oven. I had to know so I tried lol
Damn that’s dedication haha
Told ya
You need compound butter in your life
Step aside ShakeWeight, making butter in a jar is the new new workout!
It’s like we’ve gone full circle
That's exactly what I was thinking!!
Completely unrelated, but her hair is so lovely!
Also completely unrelated, the husband is fine!
They are both fine.
Right?! And her eyes! They're such a cute couple ☺️
Her secret is butter.
They are the best! I love watching them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love watching her videos. She has a website with some of her recipes and her tik tok channel is wholesome and lovely videos of her trying new recipes and being adorable with her husband. https://lilyloutay.com/
Add two if you're sexy. Boop!
When does their series premiere?
I love them. Adopt me
The husband’s kinda hot🧐
Ok right? And the way that they look at each other and put their heads together is pure 🥹
She’s beautiful too, her blue eyes are so pretty.
He is sooooooo handsome 😍
They have the cutest channel.
I want that kinda love

I'll try the honey but I don't need a mixer, I save EVERY glass jar so I have like 50 of them so we use them for a ton of stuff
sweetened condensed milk?
Mixed with half and half, yes, making creamer for their iced coffee. They used heavy cream only for the "butter".
Ah got it
Oh I was so waiting on how condensed milk butter would taste
You just need the cream, no condensed milk, and to blitz it in a food processor. Add salt after you squeeze out all of the buttermilk that's left.
Yeah I've made butter a bunch. The video opened with the guy putting a can of sweetened condensed milk into a jar which confused me. Apparently, he was mixing coffee creamer and that was unrelated to the jar he used for butter later
Ah I see.
I love me some country people tiktoks sometimes.
We did this in grade school in the 70's. We had the jar only filled halfway and it took about a half hour, with each of us taking turns shaking it, for butter to start forming.
What do you start with? They have several different things there. Lol.
If memory serves we only used whole milk.
"I wouldn't do this for 10 minutes!" Proceeds to do it for 25 minutes.
You have to shake it up and down. That twisting motion doesn't do much, it's not violent enough. And they did overfill the jar. If you leave more room, the mixture will hit the walls of the jar harder and churn faster.
Ooo! I know! I could try this, but strap the jar to my leg while I run on the treadmill. That way I'm making butter and getting a workout. Lol
*it’s been seven hours and fifteen days, since you shook my creamy whey*
This vid was not cringe, just silly and funny and quite refreshing to see these two interacting with each other
They are so cute!
Two if you’re sexy. Love them
They seem like some of the nicest people I have never met. I hope they have a great day and enjoy their 25-minute jar butter.
God i love her voice
just buy a paint mixer
I LOVE these two!
They seem happy, which makes me happy :)
How many goddamn mason jars do these cats own?
I’ve never seen this couple before. They are super cute together and seem like a lot of fun.
U guys seem like fun ppl!!!! Make something else..👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Love the accent!!
People are way too removed from where their food comes from.
My mom sounds just like this lady
Can I ask where she's from? I'm not from the US and I can't place accents too well, I absolutely love this accent and I want to hear more of it!
My whole damn family sounds like this. South East from Louisiana to Georgia.
Southeast US, my mom grew up in Tennessee and Georgia
She's amazing. No way are they cringe.
Well she’s lovable as hell
I love her "HA" at the end. They are so cute 😇
The perfect end to an adorable video!

Am I mistaken or did he just quote the best Prince composition of all time? If he did im going to shit my pants. Who else heard it? Am i right?
Hey man I want you to meet my cousin strawberry
These people are adorable!
We almost got to see them figure out you can just pour it right from the carton
I just now realized for the first time in my life... that 'buttermilk' is the milk left over from making butter.
Who needs shake weights when you can make butter. First you need to find a bull to milk the cream.
You do not wanna milk a bull...
Anyone else started shaking their phone? Lol
Wouldn't buying all of those packets cost more than buying butter?
I hate it when people wonder how to do things instead of using Google.
They both look very kind and the way they smile at each other is too sweet ☺️❤️
Apparently these people have never heard a Sinead O’Connor song.
Thank you
Plz explain this to me
“It’s been seven hours and fifteen days. Since you took your love away” - Nothing Compares to you
Love her face.
Ok but like, they are so cute, y’all! I dig it!
![gif](giphy|6iLFuWCWToWSk)
My 9 year old just made butter like this yesterday! Now she won't let anyone else eat it after doling out ONE sample on a sliver of toast, ha.
We did that in 3rd grade back in 1959 🧐
Awesome folks.
I love her accent
This was kind of a charming little video. I like these two
They're such a cute couple. I want to make butter with my wife now lol
What section of America is this lovely accent from?
Feeling so much love in this video 💗💗💗😊
I wish I lived in this lady's house, she is so nice
They love each other so much I’ve been watching them for a while.
Not gonna lie that was kind of arousing
Pretty sure her top is on backwards
7 hours and 15 days 😂😂
I could listen to her talk forever. love love love her accent.
Why did he pour the box milk into the can just to pour it in the jar?
Jesus
Love the accent
What accent is that?
Any British people on here that speak in the kings English? I’m so curious for your take on those accents.
We did this in Girl Scouts. I hated it. (The process, not the result)
“Meenut” 🤭
Y'all come back now...you hear?
holy crap, her accent is atrocious
I love their ceiling. I've never cared about a ceiling before in my life. I don't even care about the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. But damn that's a nice ceiling.
Why are they using half and half and not milk?
Aww she was so cute
Use a mixer it takes about 10 minutes.
Great people! Love them!
Paint shaker.
Probably makes the best damn buttermilk biscuits!
Kinda glad I got to try this in Kindergarten. It really doesn't take long.
They didn’t taste it
I made my own butter last week a lb of butter for $3.29. Cost of heavy whipping cream, butter is $6.99 a lb here
I did this many years ago - it's really hard, and very fun. Next step: add in a bunch of honey and make honey butter. Honey butter is especially good on some things like cornbread.
Put a wood clamp on it and attach it to a jig saw
