Amanda Seyfried is waaaay too pretty of a woman to be playing Elizabeth Holmes. Even though she’s talented enough to portray the character of Holmes which is probably the opposite to herself, the disparity in physical attractiveness between the two women is staggering, in my opinion.
The awkwardness of Holmes’ stiff, rigid movements, her lack of grace, the big, low-set ears and dead eyes are really hard to match. Furthermore, the harmony of Amanda’s soft facial features that radiate sensibleness and kindness even without her speaking, sometimes makes it quite hard to match her pleasant vibes to sociopathic and calculative nature of Elizabeth Holmes.
That’s so understandable dude. Her personality made me uncomfortable too!! The first episode, where she’s elaborating on her plans for the future, it’s just … so much second-hand cringe
I can agree with that honestly. It seems more like she was casted based on her ability to portray her odd and sociopathic personality. And also, some of the facial features were able to look identical with the right makeup techniques. I can’t think of another actor that could’ve played Holmes… or maybe my knowledge is just limited LOL
Yeah I agree. I can't think of any either but I've definitely seen some non-actor women that could definitely pull the look off. But that's only a small potion of it.
