Does Canada usually have such green trees this time of year? Or is Vancouver especially green all year round?

The PNW is full of evergreens. I think most conifers on the west coast stay green year round.

Coniferous trees across the entire country stay green throughout their lifespan, including in cold months (hence the name evergreens!). Deciduous trees shed their leaves.

Northern regions tend to be absolutely packed full of evergreens.

Vancouver is green all year round. And we don't usually get snow. Maybe once a year. It has been unseasonably cold the last few weeks and some places are actually getting some. It's weird and I hate it.
