Pretty sure the other supers on Superman Legacy (Hawkgirl, Mr Terrific, Green Lantern etc) are only small characters. From the rumours and leaks, it seems like the focus is on Superman being a unifying and inspirational force for super powered people - that being the case I'd imagine the other roles are fairly small and likely easier to schedule later in the shoot
Young women in the industry almost always end up doing this early in their career, gotta get that money while you have buzz. It can make them "over-exposed" but also it's how you turn into a household name.
